The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

I'm finishing up the course I'm taking on treating insomnia with cannabis and I was wondering if anyone would like to share their favorite strains for sleep meds? I'm a sativa gal, and have barely dipped my toes in the indica waters, so I can use all the help with this one I can get. :battingeyelashes:

I also need treat my insomnia with cannabis:volcano-smiley::volcano-smiley:

I'll be looking for something quick and frosty, an auto for sure. Maybe that Lemon Skunk arteekay and Jay grew out recently. That had to be the frostiest thing I've seen lately.

Is there anything better than a SweetSue callout? I think not!

:yahoo: :adore:

Sadly, I think we spoiled our cohorts with it, now it's all they want. I'm guessing they forgot about the DDA.

We'll add another Canuk Seeds Lemon Skunk auto next, now that our Purple Kush is showing colors I don't need another DDA or Red Poison yet.

OH yeah, and MASSIVE congrats on getting back in the game. It just isn't the same here at 420mag without a daily SweetSue update.

:hugs: and :circle-of-love:

Good Morning Sue!
Hope you're doing well today. So much good stuff going on in your neck of the woods. Excited to see how the hempys work out for you. I have a small growing area as well 2x2x5'9" so finding any way to maximize the space is awesome. The max I have grown at once was 2 plants and this time I am only running 1 but I am getting the urge to try more so maybe for my Autumn grow I could do 4 smaller plants just so I can really try out some of these seeds I have.

I'm getting excited about the possibilities RheinRover. I've spent a good part of my day over on Tead's thread. He's got AKgramma enticed too, so we're getting the benefit of classes on hempy cultivation, Tead style. I'll be using osmocote, AKgramma's using a nute line. I just ordered my new bag of perlite - I need to redo my SWICKs too so this turned out to be good timing.

I didn't realize your space was so small. I have those tiny spaces off to the sides, but with some smart plant placement and creative lighting supplementation we could get something going here. :laughtwo: I love learning something new and I particularly like the challenge of utilizing this limited space. If hempy doesn't work out I'll still be able to use azalea pots and kit soil in their place. I already know that works. Tead just caught my eye at the right time. Hahaha!

Can't believe I'm going to purchase a ph meter though. Seems a bit sacrilegious for an LOS gardener.

Supplies in in preparation for the hempy part of the grow. Noob, this is the nutrient line I'm going to use. I'll be reading through a couple journal links Tead shared with me on running a grow with Osmocote.

I covered the wall with a new sheet of project board. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it there, but I like having something covering the wall when I'm in there spraying plants.

In the next couple days I'll cut that scallion out, replace it with some new ones and fill in the pot with more soil. That'll settle my discomfort with the lanky seedling. I think I'm going to have to start under CFLs. When the perlite gets here I'll reset the SWICKS. In two weeks I start the first hempy bucket and we're back to perpetual. *sigh*

You know the drill people. You. Joy. Spread it far and wide. :laughtwo: I'm off to join my walking club. I'll catch you all later. :ciao:

:Namaste:

Thanks arteekay. :hugs: :circle-of-love: I think I'll check out Canuk Seeds. I'd like to start a Lemon Skunk to follow one of the girls in the 10 gallon pots, so we're talking in 6 weeks.

Well... one often runs into a touch of sacrilege when practicing multiple religions. No worries baby... we'll get ya past that minor bump.

Well, I figure between you and lexort I can't screw up. :laughtwo:

Its definitely gonna be a adventure lol

That it will be lexort. I'm glad to have you at my elbow.

Can't wait to see how your hempy project turns out. Going hydro is another beast. You should get phenomenal yields though. What are you using for nutrients?

I'm intrigued by it, and this looked like the perfect time to give it a shot. I've never grown like this before, but I trust The Right Rev Tead to guide me to success. He's got a nice little system going. Let's see if I can duplicate his success.

I just realized the date. Yesterday was the anniversary of Dale's death, and it passed completely unnoticed by me.

I guess you you guys have done a better job of carrying me through the fires of grief than we all thought. Thank you for that shot of normal. :circle-of-love:

I made it guys. I'm a little humbled right now.

I've never heard of using osmocote in hydro. Should be interesting. Tead certainly knows what he's doing. Can't wait to see how this goes. Are you using perlite 3:1 vermiculite mix in your hempies?

I'll be using straight perlite. The idea's to demonstrate simplicity. Perlite and Osmocote Plus, with some homemade cal/mag adjusting, if I understand correctly.

Thank you guys. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs: I appreciate it. :battingeyelashes:
