The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Nice to see you getting your garden back.
:hugs::hugs::hugs:

Thank you Noob. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

I'll have to keep it to two at a time until I get a better cabinet, but I can make that work with some decent training techniques.

Sue, in my cat bit fever and right after in my viral throat and body issues I have failed to be here for support! I apologize for that dear friend. And still when Duggs posted his great bubble tutorial you thought of me and wished me to feel well. I was going to say you and your daughter should both leave to get away but if he is going to move out in September it could lead to the best of all situations. What if this had happened a month into the future when you had serious nuggets and he really did call the cops and decided not to tell you? I just would hate to see that happen. But if he is gone after you move then hey it seems like things are going to work out.

Still sucks though and couldn't have happened to a less deserving person. If I was a millionaire I would ship you and your sister off to Oregon to live down the street from Oldergrower.

Hang in there my thoughts are so much with you!

I'm so glad you have something going after that ordeal. Big hugs Sue!

Thanks smokiebear. :hugs:  I hope you're feeling better these days. Here, one more. :hugs:

You dear man. :hugs: I wasn't expecting you to climb out of your sickbed to be here Shiggity. It was all I could do not to track you down and play nursemaid. :laughtwo: I've had cat scratch fever. It's nothing to sneer at. I'm glad you're finally beginning to feel better. :circle-of-love:

The BIL is no problem. The landlord won't come in without advance notice and the police never were going to come in. Growing two plants at a time in a simple closet environment is much easier to cover up than tents that stand out and scream "Look at me!"

I've lived long enough to learn to drop and roll when life gets that aggressive. It was brutal at the time, but I can't tell you how much more peaceful it's become to have the tents down and get back to the simplicity of a couple autos growing quietly in the closet. I bought new scallions to plant in the pots. That should keep most of the flowering perfumes under control, so I may be able to get away without filtration. And I have so much more space in my living room! :laughtwo:

This means that I don't extend the demands of my grow beyond the three people it now serves. If I pay attention to training I should be able to max out harvests and stay ahead of myself. Get a couple decent harvests behind me and I'll be good. This next couple has one CBD strain. The next couple groups will be for my own consumption. I'll have to be more careful about how much oil I play with. That's a shame because I was counting on being able to experiment more in the Study Hall. It looks like I'll have to spread that experimentation around to other interested members and bide my time as I gather enough inventory.

I just have to plan more and be less spontaneous about it all. This is actually a good thing. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Jarring It Up

They've been hanging long enough. Time to trim it up and get it jarred.

CBD Critical Mass. She smells like buttered popcorn. Made my moth water the entire time. :laughtwo:

The smaller jars are trim, in case I decide to make a small batch of oil from either of these, or maybe an oil made with both of them.

CBD Critical Cure.

Interestingly, they both came out with identical weights. :laughtwo:

All tucked away for the cure. I'll give them a month. I'd like to smell that mango Cajun found with his Critical Cure. Right now she doesn't smell like much of anything other than grass.

Most of this is slated for tinctures or elixirs.

will you add sugar?:volcano-smiley:This is already done and can eat,right?:cheertwo::cheertwo::thumb:

That would be some treat Sara. :laughtwo: I keep looking at that picture of his and thinking about how easy it'd be to turn that into concentrated cannabis oil. Lol!

That is EXTREMELY concentrated, nothing but trichomes. You would not want to consume that spoonful! Duggan said a little bit of it, only as large as a grain of rice, got his friend very stoned. :cheesygrinsmiley:

It's primarily done for purity and flavor. The rest of the plant material is not very useful, so we can just separate the trichomes and discard the rest of the leaf.

Used in what context?

It's the abbreviation for abbreviation. It's also Alcohol By Volume.

Edit: AHHHH Already been vaped. Really? I should be using it?

There are many ways to use your ABV as another source of medicating. As mentioned above you can add in brownies, make tinctures or just munch on it like Sue does. It's a nice thing to have on hand if your supply is getting low or you do enjoy making edibles.

hmmm... when I check my notifications and don't see a notification for this thread, I suspect something in the world is off kilter.

Everything OK in your world SS?

Awwww..... Tead, that made me feel so warm and special. :hugs:

Everything's good. Still staying up a bit later than is optimal so I'm not rolling out of bed until around 10. Throw in an hour of qi gong practice and some time to prepare the morning ginger/mint/lemon tea (how sweet to be able to pick the mint fresh every morning) and I'm not on line until about now. I was quiet overnight, wasn't I? Lost in the study of my newest passion. :battingeyelashes: Time for an update. :slide:

Time to plant the Dark Devil Auto. :woohoo:

image13725.jpeg

I'm still trying to decide which size pot to put her in, so I'll let her start in a solo cup. I have the choice of a 7 or a 10 gallon pot. I'm leaning towards the 10 gallon, since it'll be a no-till.

Med GOM 1.0 (Day 2)

One happy gardener here folks. :yahoo:

Sue, I let myself get five or six pages behind with your journal, and what a shock to hear what had happened! I know it was brutal having to pull your garden, but it looks like you do have a path forward, even if on a little bit smaller scale. I am very glad about that, but I so wanted to see how your Critical Cure plant finished. Maybe you can give the strain another shot when everything finally gets settled again, and certain tenant aren't around any more.

Thanks also for the link to Duggan's butter hash procedure. Looks awesome!

Have a good day!

Ive been waiting for you to catch on to events that unfolded. It's already turned out to be a very good thing. Yes, it limits the grow, but it forced me to cut back to essentials so I can focus on the Study Hall and the dosing threads more. For the moment, I'm simply enjoying the relaxed feeling of all this open space.

I can grow enough in this set up to supply myself and my daughter, as well as make tinctures for the boy. The Critical Cure came out very nice. I got 509 grams wet out of her and turned that into two jars of infused olive oil that I'll put to good use in cooking. I have no idea what kind of dose I'm getting, other than sufficient, but it's only going to be used for myself, so that doesn't matter.

I also saved a few colas to do tinctures for the daughter and the boy. All in all, I'm pleased with it. I'd have liked to have been able to hang her to dry and cure, but I got 19 grams doing just that, so I'm good.
