The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

I treated myself to a double brownie dose today with a full brownie at breakfast and another at dinner. That second complete brownie was at about 6 PM. Good grief I'm high! Lol!

Dark Devil Auto - definitely a good choice for my brownies.

sue your plants are a picture of health ,very very well done , going to have some huge nugs

Thank you photos and :welcome: to the journal. It's always good to see a fresh face in the crowd. I don't believe we've met before. Make yourself at home and feel free to jump in at any time. Are you finding everything you need in our community? If there's any way we can be of assistance you've only to ask. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Thanks SS! I have been out walking around today, what a great day!

:ciao:

It was a lovely day for a walk, wasn't it? The weather's certainly been changeable this past week. I'm glad you got out to enjoy this wonderfully temperate day. I got out there for a stroll myself.

There's a Budmaster G.O.D. 6 and an Advanced Diamond XML 350. Between the two I don't think this is excessive.

I'll be looking for strains that get high resin production. You've had a couple pass through your tent. I'll be reviewing your journal.

Thanks Sue. Those are both some incredible lights. I'd forgotten just how awesome that MotY prize package is. Can't wait to get into a higher class of lights in the future myself.

Happy Tuesday to you Scottay. :hugs: We do have a talent for training our growers. I'm kinda surprised when I open that big tent up every day. :laughtwo: It's starting to rub off on me.

3:30 - Time for bed. Goodnight everyone. *yawn*

:Namaste:

Today's lesson in the necessity of stealthiness. The apartment below mine is occupied by my brother-in-law, Dale's youngest brother, a victim of bi-polar disorder, off his meds for longer than a year now. Last night he took offense at my singing after 9PM and turned me in to whomever he chose to do that to. Since his note alluded to jail time I have to believe he reported me to the police.

I'm on my way to lunch with a friend. When I come home everything comes down. Everything.

I need to move. I have no idea where or how, but I need to move and do it sooner than soon.

oh my god thats horrible ,talk to him ask first dont just pull yet , would be such a shame ive been looking in on this thread and such a wonderfull journey and so much great information ,i hope it works out sue ,god bless you

Be careful... how many times does someone 'off their meds' make for a horrific news story?

It's not what happens to you in life that defines you. It's how you react to those events that shake you that show the true character.

SweetSue's Magic Butter Machine 2 is finally being pressed into service. Thankfully, I'm in the harvest window for the Criticals and everything else is over 4 weeks, so all of it can be processed into medicinal or edible use. I can dry part of the Criticals for tinctures. The rest becomes butter or oils. No one's crashing through my door. I live in a monitored building, so the evidence is clear that I'm not dealing. My reputation in this valley is solid. I'm tearing down to be cautious.

I believe I may be able to shift to the apartment my brother is vacating. That gets me away from Dale's brother and puts me right below my daughter's apartment. It's the least disruptive option, but one I can't take advantage of until mid-July or August. Until then ......

It can be very challenging to stay ahead of demand, can't it? Once again, I'm staring down the barrel of knowing I'll run out before I've a chance at another harvest. It almost makes me want to just quit. I won't go back to street drugs, so that may be where I'm headed for a while anyway. I'm too spoiled guys. Hard decisions ahead, but for now, I have some plants to cut down.

This one I can "like". You have the right attitude, and you are saving what you can!!! FYI. 4 hour @ 160 works great for oils. No need to go 8 hours. You should have time for at least 2 batches today!!! I am here if you need me. :circle-of-love::peace:

Can I use fresh cut? If so, that's first on my list. I'll turn most of the Criticals into oils.

supergroomer, I can process oil and decarb later, can't I?

Yes. I put it in the oven to decarb @ 250 for 30-40 minutes then dump it into the MB2. I use 3-4g / cup of oil with trim. Bud you can go 1 to 1. I also put the Lecithin in @ 1T per cup. The machine will chop it up for you, but I would still use scissors to cut it up smaller, especially the stems. Long "twigs" will leave fibers wrapped around the mixing blade. :circle-of-love::peace:
