The Noatec: Long Time Toker - First Time Grow.

pH seems fine. you are so late in flowering it doesn't matter. natural. plant nearing end of life. if you are worried about it. add cal-mag. more nitrogen and magnesium and calcium oughta keep it healthy for longer.

update pics.

Thanks Train,
I'll take some pics after my wifes meatloaf. No it's really good. ;)

Here's some pics I took last night.

It was great. Havin a sangwich with mashed potatoes on it right now.
Hope I'm done drying and curing before "Alice in Wonderland" opens.
That's going to be a joint there.

Checked the trichs last night with my 100x scope. Gettin cloudy, but no amber to speak of yet. What you guys think 2 more weeks? I gotta have smoke for the Slightly Stoopid show on the 25th !!!!!

How are the hairs looking on the buds, any red yet? I hear it's a combination of the two (trichs).

Won't be too long!

Things look like they are coming to a close fellas. I'm at approximately 40% red pistols and I would say 50% milky trichs. I found a few completely yellow fans down low this evening. My plan is to continue to observe and if things look good, switch to water only on Sat or Sun. Then harvest the following weekend. Due to fundage I'm going to put the vertical grow on hold for the second run and go with a home made NFT setup.
Do you all have any suggestions for a heavy Sativa strain that works well in an SOG NFT environment?
Also,
Can anyone suggest a site to get White Widow seeds for my second grow?
Are you guaranteed to get female seeds?
Thanks to everyone.

My wife and I sampled a bud taken about 5 days ago today while "Telecommuting" from home. We still work and do our jobs we just do them -:)OUR(:- WAY !!!!! We don't have to deal with people stopping by to ask you how to do something they should have learned in there so called "College Education" Take a freaking note people, write it down, commit it to memory if you use it more than once or twice. Sorry, went out on a rant there for a second... Ok, you guessed, I'm high......er than a kite on a summer Sunday eve.
My opinion, I switch to water right now and pull them down a week later. Let the full dry and cure process complete and hope it's couch lock easy...
Current status....
Very Cerebral..... uplifting energetic....Long lasting.....
Just what I had envisioned given the source of the seed.....

Yep......Still pretty baked. Going to Cop Out later. That should be fun.
We always mix our own drinks before we go......
Merlot or Svedka depending on genda.. Siera Mist & cranberry juice.

I've got a couple of nice clones that need to get some veg time in, but I'd like to do two strains at once. If I go SOG, 4 plants will keep things from getting cramped. If I kept height way down with low stress training I could maybe go up to 8. Two rows of 4 down the length of the 4.5 foot space. Time to go seed shopping.

How long they been in 12/12 for? I'd say you have more than a week to go.

You shouldn't harvest while there are any healthy white pistils, they will eventually brown all over and recede into the bract. Each individual floret should get really fat at that point.

I'm at day 36 and I have a (C99 x Diesel, head high) plant that looks just like yours, maybe 30-40% pistils getting golden. The day-to-day changes are slower, but you can tell that the flowers are getting bigger. You wouldn't want to harvest before hitting that specific ripening phase where they all get big.

Then again, I'm going on hearsay and reading, patience is the most important aspect for the end of flowering. I've read many times "when you think it's done, let it go another week".

The buds are noticeably fatter each day.
Good lookin out Afka.
I'll sanp & post some pics this eve.

No amber trichs yet.
More red pistols on the largest buds, some are starting to recede.
Some of the smaller lower ones still have mostly white.
Had to tie a couple up.
Ok, so I understand why one of the biggest mistakes for first time growers is to harvest too early. They start looking all Budelicious and you start thinking. I don't want to ruin months of hard work and money by letting them go too long.
SF said let it ride and watch the buds plump up, and I'll be damned they are really blowing up now. Starting to get all nice and sticky frosty. I smell lemon on my fingers after. Could this be LHZ? Here's my soft bud porn, my Cinimax to OBX and Pits HARD CORE BUD porn if you will. I'm proud none the less.
Thanks for all your help thus far guys. Really really helps more than just reading everything I can get my hands on.
