The Noatec: Long Time Toker - First Time Grow.

I don't want to clog your journal with pics, but if you look at my gallery, I'm just at flower day 50. You can use these for a possible comparison. I'm also using a 400w. My temps drop to about 65 at night (in basement), and then probably stay at about 75-78 with light on during the day.

I think you're fine, she's looking good! In another week or two, you'll probably be amazed.

Sounds like about the same conditions. I actually spent several hours the other night looking through the galleries trying to find images taken at about the same flower period. I think I may have seen yours. Heading out there now to check it out again.
Thanks for the input.

No, you have a 400 watt right? A foot should be fine. I was thinking they might have stretched from being too far from the light, but might just be normal for the strain.

Keep up the good work! +8

Lights are coming on shortly, at 4:20 ;)

Now that IS funny!

Bump.

Place your hand at the top of the plant. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for the plant, otherwise, yep move it as close as possible.

One of mine actually grew into the light. Burned the top of the cola, so I just had to bend it over, now the buds on the bent part are growing in towards the light.

A 400 watter you should be able to get pretty close.

Sometimes limericks just pop into my head for some reason.
Must be the Irish in me.
"StinkFinger StinkFinger why does your finger stink ?
Was it the ugly brown eye or was it just dirty pink ?"

Hysterical.

You missed the only other color that was possible. Green sticky buds would also produce a "StinkFinger".

Alas, when I picked that name, I knew it would be a good homograph!!!

Kudos for the quick wit!

:bravo:

StinkyFingers

Thanks,
I haven't had stinky fingers like that since I helped my friends mom harvest when I was in college. It took the three of us most of a week to process the crop. She grew in the middle of her corn field, like every 3rd or 4th plant. She was the REAL Nancy Botwin. She would never let us deal though. We had all we could smoke, but could never sell. Ahhhh those where the days.

It won't be long my friend!

Ahh. The REAL Children of the Corn!

Love Weeds! Memories like that are fond to hold on to!

Peace Brother.

Hey guys,
Have a little problem.
coming up on week 6 in flower.
Some of the top older leaves have developed what appears by reference to be Mg Def.
The water here is pretty hard.
The two girls don't seem to be consuming nutz like the used to.
Is this lock out?
If so what's the best way to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

It's only on the oldest leaves. Lower and new growth is lush. Ph is between 6.2 - 6.5 PPM has been a little problematic lately. I think the roots of the two males I had to chop down are breaking down and jacking my meter through the roof. I have no signs of nute burn so I've stayed with the feeding sched. It could be foliar nute burn. I mist the underside every day with a weak solution. Maybe I've gotten sloppy and this is foliar nute burn. I'm about 2 weeks from my nute flush so just trying to avoid catastrophy. Buds are filling out nicely. Have a few amber pistols each. This doesn't seem to be a real heavily bud stacked strain, but I've got LOTS of small buds. I'm consider WW for my next grow. Thoughts?

Honestly I think you're good man! New growth really tells the story. Yellow leaves towards the bottom are "normal" and you're right, you could have had a nute problem back during that early time, the leaves just won't repair themselves. Again I was in the same boat two weeks ago and based on input I adjusted strength (I was too weak), and all subsequent growth has been good.

Just keep an eye out, shout loud if you see things going awry.

Have a great day man!

PS. I'm growing White Widow currently, if you want to jump in, more info on my journal, ;-)

pH seems fine. you are so late in flowering it doesn't matter. natural. plant nearing end of life. if you are worried about it. add cal-mag. more nitrogen and magnesium and calcium oughta keep it healthy for longer.

update pics.
