The Munki's Playground

Maybe its me, but the clones appear to show some signs of flowering under this light regimen so I am going to a 16/8 schedule. Lights are somewhat raised (5 inches above tops) and I took out 2 of the 4 bulbs to lower intensity.

Latest clone shots.

Nutrient burn noted on faster growing Satori clones. I will be trying weaker solutions to see if I can find a healthy balance. Going to approximately half-strength.

Updated pics showing the nutrient burn. Plants are already recovering with 1/2 strength nutes.

Cool. Thanks for catching up and chiming in. Yeah, I did not expect to get all females from the seeds and I did not have the heart to toss any of them so it is a bit cramped in the flower room. Less plants are better when space is restricted, for sure.

yeah but more plants = more goods! ;)

lol yeah that last post didnt need words =P

can't believe those were all just clone cuttings not long ago.... Nice bro good job

All I can say is I hope and pray to even be close to that good!! Great job on getting those cuttings "up and running" so quickly!! Wow, they must be on super-steroids!!

Heh. Thanks guys but I was actually trying to slow down their development with only 16 hours of light per day and only half the bulbs in the lamp. Just trimmed off the tops of 6 plants. Will post pics of them tomorrow. I will be trying to get them to branch and bush out. Plan is to keep the best for mothers and then flower out the rest. Maybe I'll toss out the leftovers, who knows. It has been fun and a good exercise developing and maintaining them.

Nothing like mini hempy cups for initial growth then flexibility with where you plant them - I put some in the ground and they took off with no transplant shock whatsoever.

That was my hope. I was looking to put the best plants into larger containers using soil for my mothers. The Bonsai Mother style intrigues me so I want to incorporate what I can from that method.

Clone update. With the tops cut, some of the clones look crappy. That is due to previous leaf damage from nutrients that were too strong and given about 10 days ago. All do show new growth.

My clones' lower leaves always look crappy, but I never have a good excuse.
After new growth surges, I can trim the uglies then photograph ;)
Ever see movie stars without makeup? Other than the still hot, Jamie Lee Curtis :)

The little tent has wire parts to make a grid support half-way up the tent. I didn't use them and also removed one of the mid height cross support beams to fully open up the side with the zippers.

I got it on eBay. Vendor is usponics. Great shipper BTW. Look for hydroponics bud box in the vendor's storefront.

Thanks Propa. I figure they will pull through and all those lower leaves will get trimmed, but they do look sad in the mean time.

A very long overdue update. I just switched to a new nutrient formula. Got it at the indoor growers expo. It is called Mother Plant and is formulated for maintaining mother plants. Producer is a company called Hydrodynamics International and are out of Lansing, Michigan.

We shall see how well it works. The part A smells like Floralicious plus from General Hydroponics.

Here are how the little mothers are doing.
