I'm on Los Angeles tap water and have no residue in my bucket after mixing, nor in the gallon milk jugs 3 days later with 45-50º F nights. Nor do I microwave.i am on RO though, and would expect that would level the field as far as water goes.
It's when you try pass the particles through the drippers that I have the problems. The openings are tiny, the flow rate is slow and the particles build up in front of the opening until it's completely clogged.
Everything else works with my system. The pump remains clear, the lines seem to be good, it's just at the end of the line that I have the problem.
GLN has stated that they are coming out with a two part system that may be better suited for my use. I'll just have to wait and see.
Look at this response....do you even contradict BRO?
when i feed i use a couple measuring cups, since i essentially do it by formula. i dip one cup into the feed water, and use the other to measure before pouring in the watering can...

it would frustrate me too. i'd still use it in hempy tho, it's just too cheap and easy lol....
It probably doesn't matter and you can just keep it powder like it is.
If you insist on some other method, you can also make a liquid concentrate:
100g into 1L water
shake well
each 10ml will be 1g of Mega Crop evenly.
Making a concentrated solution of Mega Crop DOES NOT WORK as advertised. I wasted my entire "Free Sample" trying that method at different concentrations. I use the sediment filled quart jar as a door stop. Somewhere earlier in the tread is a picture of the jar. I could run upstairs and take another picture of it 7 months later, but what is the point.
Why don't you have a clue about the levels of what you're putting in? It's no different from feeding liquid nutes except the liquid has been removed. You measure liquids in ml or tsp, you measure MC in grams.having no clue as to the actual levels of what I’m putting in
The only thing that has me baffled is that none of you seem to need cal-mag
You clearly misunderstood what I was saying... I’m well aware of what’s it in the dry nutes. I can read the label lol what I’m saying is when you add that scoop there is NO WAY you could tell me exactly what levels of each nutrient are in that scoop... one scoop could have more Phosphorus while the next scoop could have an excess of another nutrient... I’m not saying you can’t ball park and guesstimate what’s in each scoop lol your guess is as good as mine, of course we can prolly get relatively close because of what of the bag says... but that wasn’t even my question lolWhy don't you have a clue about the levels of what you're putting in? Am i unsure of what? ... I’ve read the ball to powder ratio thing, which is kind of silly they wouldn’t mix the dry nute completely... so in the shed, are you saying the balls are the calcium???Are you unsure because the balls and powder aren't evenly distributed?
Something I've seen from day one. Dutchman places a recirculating pump in his res to keep things mixed. No sediment that way.i must say i am surprised none of this sites 'fert detectives' figured this stuff out yet.
Which Calmag are you using? You may have mentioned it but this thread moves too fast for me to hunt it down. The 11 ratio is assuming your calmag is 2-0-0. I recommend 1-0-0 to keep the N levels low. Please tell me you are not using GLN's pot of gold calmag.Did u not read my reply? I said when I use cal-mag I get nitro toxicity...EVERYTIME.
Ohh ok, sorry for confusing you. But no I’m monitoring this like a mofo... I monitor my ph, ppm, ec, and water temp.... I do this twice daily and am taking very good notes... I’m sorry if I came off rude, I’m just extremely frustrated with how this grow is going lol I thought MC would be easier then bottled nutes and I’m having the opposite reaction. I’m willing to do anything short of illegal activities to get this back on track. Lmao ... and my plants aren’t that bad, I’m just used to having beautiful plants from start to finish and can’t believe I’m having these problems. Especially considering the cal mag problem... so I just invested in a new cal mag product it’s called “ General Organics” and it’s supposed to have only calcium, iron, and magnesium.... has anybody heard of these and or have experience with them.I think that's the general conclusion, at least that's part of what's in the balls. I'm not sure if we got an answer from Greenleaf on it.
I replied to you saying "no clue as to the actual levels" because it makes it sound like you aren't being as exact with your MC measuring as you were with your liquid nutes. That was my impression from it anyway.
