The Mega Crop Thread

I couldn't bring myself to say that :( Sometimes we just have to let go.

I don't like saying it. It's better to hear it now, than after several more weeks of effort.

@732002, If you don't have pollen sacks, and still want to get seeds, you have the option of re-vegging them. Doing this will take about six months for the grow. It's up to you. We'll help if you want us to.

I'm wondering if it's worth continuing the grow. You are well into flower. Have you found any pollen sacks yet? They develop well before the buds bulk up.

I agree there is little value or hope at this point. I would however like to know what went wrong so I can avoid it in the future. No good pollen sacks, maybe small ones?

I did pot up from 1 gallon to 3. Root ball was not impressive so I'm not confident this was the problem.

I'll give it till the end of the year, If no great improvement I'm starting over with a fresh seed Jan 1st.

Thanks to all for the help.

Really it's hard to say. When you start a new grow tag us if you like and start a journal. Most of the time many of the growers will see a flag before you take the wrong turn until you get things figured out. In a case like this so late it's hard to give any advice on what went wrong.

Here's what you are looking for on a reversed branch. This is a very poor result from a reversal.

I plan on trying a auto seed next. Might keep one of the regulars to try re-veg, thanks for suggesting that.

Start a journal when you do, and call Pennywise for good advice. He is one of my go-to sources.

This is a great thread ... I've finished the first 27 pages so far.

I was a bit confused by how a tsp of MC could weigh 8g and 6g ... but then I just chalked that up to gravitational anomalies here on earth.

As a solution, I called up my buddy Elon Musk and we sent two plants to mars ... and so far the results are out of this worldt!!!

The following photo is to scale and we're looking at a few tons at harvest ...

Thank-you Mega Crop ...

Did three water and nutrients change yesterday. All three rose .4 to .5 on the ph and put them in the 6 plus range . The 20 gallon reservoir I didn’t adjust the ph left it at 5.8 and rose to 6.3 !
The mama WW I phed it to 5.5 and it rose to 6.0 over night . The Frozen one left it at 5.7 and it rose to 6.1 .
Here is this morning’s post!

I've noticed similar with MC. It likes to start climbing towards the mid 6's after a day. I had similar observations on my 50gal, and once it got to 6.2 or 6.3 (can't remember exact right now) I gave it a small shot of pH Down and got it back to 5.6 or 5.7. It stayed there until yesterday (3 or 4 days) and is now creeping back up.

This is without roots in the water, so this is just the mix on its own pretty much. No real evap to speak of, water level is still the same as when I put this batch in. I did add a small shot (3ml) of pH down when I added in fresh Z7 3 hours ago, which put it at 5.7 as of 30 minutes ago.

I am glad that I am no longer needing to worry about pH in my soil grow. So far, there are no indications that unadjusted tap water is in any way harming this grow. Everything I read tells me that MC is going to work just fine from pH 8.0-5.0.
Quick question? I start all my plants in cloner. Just ro water with cal mag. I know they do need nutes to root. But once I get roots what would be best. I can add light mc or use clonex? I have them under very low light. And been having trouble they stall after they root. I let one root and week later put in bubble bucket with just clonex ro and calmag, hydroguard and it has free long roots but the plant stalls growth. Need help with these young plant moving into veg and feed and light for small plants. The plant in hand is new growth three days. What best to do with it. And the plant in bucket is two weeks in bucket. Roots stain from mc I put light dose instead of just clonex. Anyways need advice. Just to speed this cloning up and get the tiny plants rocking
