I know...I know...it could have been worse, yanno? I could have killed them during their drought
I'm trying to make light of this although it's dim...guess I am showing just how new I am to growing. I'm sure a more experienced grower would have known to check just because....
Buuut I digress, life happens and a lot of times it's the shit that happens and that's ok. I've got plenty more plants, seeds, some of the best lights on the market, and soil ready to go.

I have one friend, my best friend, my only trim friend, who knows what I'm feeling right now, not even TK-not in the slightest. Other than that, nobody. I don't have anyone that would care that knows I even grow to begin with. Just her and you guys and I knew I could find solace here.
It was the first place I thought of to really vent it all after I had calmed myself down and thought things over. I think that's pretty powerful of a
community to have created such an open avenue for compassion through growing. I'm grateful to all of you for your support. It's amazing what I've already gained from cannabis without necessarily needing any cannabis at all.Thanks guys and gals

Wow that is similar to what happened to my auto just recently..,..It is with great regret that I inform you we had a catastrophic failure in the flower tent.
I decided to start trimming the bottom section of G as I was getting a head ache and afraid I was getting sick and wanted to get a head start.
I found a seed. And then another. And another. I thought maybe it was the drought but it was really too early to have had seeds develop. Figured I could check by looking at the other girls. I was shocked and gravely disappointed. All autos have them also.
I am currently not speaking to TK as I told him multiple times not to turn the light on in the grow room when G was asleep. We always argued and he would tell me how a minute or 3 or 5 wouldn't matter. Even though this happened over and over again.
I have been playing the blame game.
The G-13 seed was a freebie seed and I never thought about it until someone mentioned it, that maybe the free seeds were always end of expiration. Could it have been the genetics?
The autos are too far into seeding that it could have had anything to do with the drought.
I am meticulous with my girls. I don't know what I did. I'm lost.
So I of course after moving the vegging girls and I pulled Limelight since she was only entering day 2 of flip and moved them to my laundry room. I put the hermied autos in the spare bathroom where I had G in the dark.
I went ham cleaning the flower tent. I cleaned all the pots I had the girls sitting on top of. I cleaned the walls, the fans, the strings, the lights, the floors, my chairs adjacent to the tents my table my nutrient shelf....then I turned off the lights and in the dark opened the veg tent, took out Onyx and Gigi and moved them to the cleaned flower tent with the light off. Praying by some grace of the canna Gods that tthe pollen didn't get into their pre flowers.
Now what, I thought. Clean the shit out of the veg tent and the fans and the lights and the filter and the hose and the strings and everything anywhere near it. Throw the veggies in there and keep the two tents separate and watch the flowering girls, heavily.
Sprayed the veggies down with water didn't want to run the risk of doing the photos so I guess I'll do them in the morning if it's not futile at that point.
I have been between crying and shaking and banging and blaming TK. Ultimately though, it's me to blame. I didn't even think to look for signs as I didn't see any need to. I didn't see bananas come up. I didn't see balls calyxes growing and bulking underneath. I wasn't aware.
It isn't the loss of the plants as I'll harvest them and de seed and smoke them for what they're worth. It's not the possibility of losing the other two flowering. It's the sheer disappointment in myself. Even more so, looking back in hindsight, not knowing what caused it to make sure it didn't happen again.
What stress did I put onto them? Was it the extreme heat in seedling stage? Did the autos have them first? Will it happen to Limelight and Goldie also?
Was it the light? Wasn't it? Am I upset with TK for reasons other than what I was already mad at him for today? (Lol...true though)
At this point I'm not mad. I'm grounded. I realize that I am learning and that it is ok for me to make mistakes so long as I don't make the same ones twice.
What was my mistake? Mistakes? I need to know! I need to learn!
Needless to say....
Going to have to hold off on starting seeds until I see what happens with Onyx and Gigi here the next couple weeks. This journal will be down to Onyx and I guess Gigi will be making appearances and the Candy journal will continue on having Limelight back for a little while to continue vegging.
I'm not one for the omg Krissi I'm sorry speeches but I am up for anyone's thoughts and or observations they may have had prior that I missed.

I look at it this way. It's a numbers game. The more plants you grow, the greater the odds of encountering hermies. I fully expect it and dread for it to happen to me, knowing its not an "if".
It's not necessarily something you did. It could have been the genetics (though I won't blame it on it being a "freebie" part).
I hope you get some sleep my friend, you've had a hell of a week- and you'll feel and think better with some rest (I hope!)

We wish we could give you the answer. I would lean towards genetics, as I've left lights on before with no detrimental effect.
Nanners can be well hidden, so unless you inspect every millimetre of your plants, you would never know they are there.
I know it's one thing thing we all dread, even more than pests. But we will all experience it at one stage like Rexer said.
You have done the right thing, isolated them and cleaned. All is not lost either mate; you can still use the plant for medicine.

Well luckily the autos were a couple weeks out so that wasn't too hard of a hit for me as they were fat girls...just the digging now to get these seeds out and another 3 plants that need trimmed and extra trimming...one thing at a time. Can't be getting myself all cluster fucked now
I just wish I knew who did it first. I assume it was G but honestly the seeds in the autos look more developed so I'm leaning towards it being one of the autos...need to just breathe today...I wouldn't blame it on the freebie either I said that to whoever it was that mentioned it in the first place but maybe they know something I don't. You know as chunky as they were, their flowers covered right over those spots and it was only from me going up and under that I saw them. Would have been nice to not have 4 plants affected but...guess it's good they aren't absolutely covered in seeds although I won't see the truth until I trim em all.
G still gave me pretty buds and I know they are potent. Sad to think how much umph I lost in the all the buds though with these seeds....
I'll be trying to manage when and how I'm supposed to harvest all these plants on my own with the baby for now. G is about done, maybe another couple hours.

Idk if I'm making myself see things right now but I see some shriveling.
Positive, only found 1 visible seed with these branches in the last pic with Gs trim. The more up I go, the less I find. For some reason they seem to have been more along the bottom. De-seeded the box...not too bad actually....and maybe I lied. I have more than 2 hours left

Dang @Krissi1982, now I'm getting anxiety of my plants. Really reconsidering the drought now. How confident are you that it is not from that? Side note, if you need to get rid of some seeds... just sayin I know someone that will take some off your hands.. asking for a friend.

I am 100% sure because G had only immature seeds, must have either hit her really late in flower or that was just her last ditch effort to make seeds...the autos...I'm on Vanilla as we speak, tons of all developed. I'm leaning towards me topping the autos this round as being the culprit. Or genetics. I am not sure but I know it wasn't G.
