Yes, she was called Dave
Ohh :rip: Dave xD
You actually made a tiny coffin for her, legend

Good morning Mr Squiggle.
Hope you are having a good day.
How are you enjoying the new position.
Are we driving you nuts yet?
Stay safe.
Bill

May have been for the best. A female with the name "Dave" undoubtedly would have had a rough life.
Unless Dave was a famous person's daughter....then you could name her Dave Trainwreck Blurple and she'd be the next President

Appreciate you following along mate. I can't fault the light, it's hard to explain the quality of it, without sounding like a weird nerd with an LED fetish:laugh:
Pictures serve enough justice me thinks Squig...at least more than us running our mouths about how great it is...
Go team Mars! :high-five:

Evening Bill, I've had a great day today, thank you.
The new job hasn't really started yet. I'm not allowed to touch any of the important buttons yet, until I complete my training.
Oh, and you've always drove me nuts anyway ;)
Hope things are good on your side..
Thank you for popping in,
Sending our love to you both :green_heart:

Too true, but any plant with any name has a rough life with me anyway. Dave was doomed from the start. Have you sat on any plants lately? ;)

I can't discuss politics past an inital joke,, it gives me the worst agita

I thought you joked mostly about killing plants. I don't see how though cause you have some really beautiful ones....I think it's just bad seed luck for you and not the grower...

Also, did I miss what height and strength you originally had the 4800 set to? I am still learning, together my two lights give me like 250W. I have them at 27 inches and 25%. I burnt them as you know...I am scared to increase intensity. Especially with Limelight not recovered yet and Goldie just sprouting her seconds. Maybe if I push them off to the side and not have them in direct light, I can increase to 30? Any thoughts?

Hi mate. @Krissi1982

On this grow I used a cheap lux meter to set the light. For the first week, I didn't go above 7000 lux. I started at 3000 on day one and gently increased it day by day. Now I'm at 14000 lux, 25% at 17 inches and I will wait another week or more before i increase it any further
There is plenty of time to blast them with light when they hit the veg stage.. more leaves, more light.
I usually go the other way and not give them enough light at this stage and I've ended up with Leggy plants, thats why I bought the lux meter. I would not increase to 30 until you have at least a few true fan leaves.
You are saying you have 250 Watts pointed at them. When you think of it, you can get a few plants through flower and produce a tonne of bud, with just 100 Watts of LED; So does a seedling need more than that?

I've killed loads of plants in the past, but I experiment on them.. these new nutrients I'm using are just generic plant nutrients, so I've got to figure out dosages as I go, saying they are not specifically designed or cannabis. But yeah, a few of these JH seeds have been duds, I've never had problems germinating before.

Stretchyness of the seedling is a good indicator on how intense your light is. But instead of turning the power up to over come such issues, just move the light closer or further away.

I hope this helps mate.

I'm 8 pages back but will eventually catch up. For now, before I forget, I'm pulling up a chair to reserve my spot. I'll be back later. Time to clean the tent and grow space and prep for the next grow!!!

Im thinking Northern lights, definitely Alcapulco Gold and possibly Jack herer.
I'm hoping this hasn't changed! I'll find out later tonight what you decided on. This is where i left off. Haaa haa

Blessings!
