Hi folks. Hope alls well with you lot..

Just gona do a brief rant to explain what went on, as it had a detrimental effect on my plants..

The wife was in hospital and we were out of town for 5 days. The cat was at my sisters, so the house was unoccupied for that time.. I up- potted the AG and the NL so they could hold a bit more water and have a bit more to eat while we were away and I drowned the two little ones, just incase.

Anyway, the same day we left home, a freak storm hit the North East of England. 90 mph winds, rain, blizzards, floods, ice, the works.. the winds destroyed my fences, ripped the roof off my workshop, my tree flattened next doors green house and the flooding got into my outside electrical socket and tripped my fuse box..
So, we came home to carnage..

The tent and house had been without power for a few days we think and this was the reading on my humdidity sensor. It holds a log of the readings , but I cant get it to link to my tablet, as it was linked to my phone, which is now buggerd.. more on that later
So I'm only guessing we were without power for that long.

Humidity hit 89% at one stage and the temperatures, went down to 8°C

With there being no air circulating, I found mold on the re-vegging blueberry.
It was pretty wide spread and all over the new growth too, so that is now out of the tent and in the living room after being cleaned with cider vinegar.. I forgot to take a photo of the moldyness. I will see if I can find some that I've missed and post a picture later..

Anyway, the AG and the NL were in a sorry state to start with, as they had been previously over watered and then transplanted. So I was expecting them to look worse than what they did. They are in quite good health considering..

That lime green leaf edge was there from birth, so it's original damage.. she's a bit stunted for her age, at least she is alive still.
Here is the Northern light

The bottom leaves were like that before I left.. There's just healthy growth going on now.

The moby dick is a bit funky, but alive still

And the blueberry is loving life

So I'm pretty happy, all things considering. They aren't dead, which is pretty unusual for me. I just need to look at a plant the wrong way and it's :rip:

Oh, I don't think I've introduced you to Nelly, the watering can
Screenshot_20211203-210155_Gallery.jpg

It sort of creeps me out for some reason.

Especially when I'm testing the PHo_O

Anyway that's it for the plants.

One thing I must say about the @Mars Hydro FC-E4800, is how cool it runs at 50 % it's keeping the tent at a steady 22°C. :cheesygrinsmiley:.
I have a small ceramic heater in there when the lights go out, but it may be a bit too warm at night. I can't dial the heater in. It's running at 26 to 28°C in the dark, at its lowest setting..

I'm contemplating going 24 hours on the lighting schedule, just to see what happens and then I will be able to get rid of that small heater..

Oh, another thing about the FC-E4800. It's bang on the watts at 50%, it's drawing exactly half of its max output wattage at the wall.. now that's precision :cheesygrinsmiley:

Oh! Another thing about the FC-E4800. It's gorgeous :cheesygrinsmiley:
Screenshot_20211203-205915_Gallery.jpg

Looking at the plants used to make me smile, but this light puts a huge grin on my face:cheesygrinsmiley:

Oh!! Back to the disasters.. when I had spent days clearing the damage, I took my phone out to take a final picture of it all cleared up. Only to drop it in a huge puddle two seconds later..things would have been fine, as its water proof; but I dropped the chainsaw on it the day before and cracked the screen and case. So it's IP rating was zero...
So I've lost years of photos and videos, because this muppet didn't back anything up:rolleyes:

Anyway, thanks for checking in everyone. I'm miles behind on all your growings on, but I will endeavour to be up to date by the weekend.

Thanks again
Take care

Paul

I don't know what to say...I hope you and the misses are handling everything and the stress of all this as best as you can and that she is ok the mend. The plants are so far back on the importance line...we were all concerned about you and rightfully so. Much love and good juju to you and your lady will be in my prayers...what a mess, Squig :(:hugs:

...the 4800 is beautiful...she will definitely keep you smiling when you need it...the girls will be ok...they're weeds...just show em some love when you can...

You've been through a windmill, Paul! Hang in there, buddy. :Rasta:

Thanks for those kind words mate. We appreciate it..
If it wasn't for the homegrown, I think we would both be in straight jackets.
When we got the power back on, we loaded the medication cannon, took 3 huge hits and burst out laughing
And the UK gov say its bad for you! Others would have hit the drink and drowned their sorrows. We hit the weed and giggled the night away:laugh:

Now that story puts a smile on my face. Much love and giggles to you both...much better than pounding the liquid death my friend

You've been through a windmill, Paul! Hang in there, buddy. :Rasta:
Thanks man.. appreciate the thought.
Talking about windmills, the next door neighbour had a huge ornamental windmill in his garden. It apparently took off like a helicopter and landed on a roof down the street and smashed the chimney pot off .
I missed all the fun really. I'm quite disappointed I wasn't here to experience it:laugh:

Damn, what a week...
Glad you made it ok, props to you for still having a great attitude after all that!
Your phone/chainsaw/puddle experience sounds like something I'd do....
And the elephant with the pH tester in her butt? Well, that's just funny as hell...

Ahhh! So you have experience of destroying phones too?.. im glad I'm not the only clumsy stoner in 420 land
Thanks for the well wishes and welcome to this journal. I appreciate you taking the time to pop in..

Oh! The elephant  it's pretty wierd probing its anus:laugh: but it holds exactly 1 litre up to its butt hole, so it's great for getting my measurements correct....

The great attitude is all down to the medication :lot-o-toke:
