Daily Update: Perpetual Tent: Week 9
Kind of a rush run-through to beat the lights, so please forgive the blurry ones. One of these days I should get a nice camera that interfaces with a computer, which it would also be a good idea to acquire.
But I digress. I wanted to see how they took the Brix foliar. It's going to take me some time to get used to what these little plots of soil will be happiest with. It's a good thing I'll have a "regular" specimen in the closet to learn the kit from a more traditional perspective.
Ziggy, did that "normal" make you laugh too? I think "normal" is pretty relative. Look at what became "normal" in your tent.
So let's see what they have going on today.
Auto Destroyer: Day 59
OK, I'll say it... Yummmmm!
African Buzz: Day 58. This plant is going to single-handedly show me, as much as she can, what the kit is designed to do. Look at what she's got going on in there! Imagine, just imagine, what she'd be like if I'd raised her proper from the beginning. At some point we're going to see that happen, and it's going to be a closet baby.
Auto Jock Hooror x Auto Amnesia: Day 57 My big consolation is that I'm going to get some enviable product to enjoy from this spindly little thing. Look at how hard she works to please. I got that CAT drench in right on time it appears. Let's see if she lasts through the next one. Any thoughts as to another approach to bring her in without that second CAT? I live with her, and I'm telling you she's eager to run to the finish. Hahaha! So much like her mother. Too funny.
I just love the way these teeny buds sit perched round her like this. Such delicacy. I could get used to these little beauties. How would you all survive the photo onslaught though?
Cheese Candy: Day 59 Crouched in the corner and purring away, she continues to stack the blossoms like mad, and now they're beginning to frost up. Oooooo. Every plant grown in this pot has surprised me at finish. I expect she'll do no less. The smell, so heady. I open this tent up and nearly swoon with delight every day.
Environment under control.
The Kit Girls all got their weekly Brix. No other maintenance was called for.
Tomorrow I mix seedling soil and get set up to plant seeds on Sunday. I discovered I have a strong preference for planting on Sundays. Not really sure why, but it appears it's a pretty strong one because I tried to plant today and it just wasn't happening.
It got me to wondering if I'm not the only person that does this. So let me throw the question out there - do you prefer to plant on a particular day of the week, and if so, have you any idea why you have that preference? Just curious.
I'm hoping your day has been as joyful as mine turned out to be. I kind of played hooky
, but I took every opportunity I came across to be helpful and encouraging. It made the day such a delight. Think I'll get down on the mat and play with some Feldenkrais movements. I still have some kincks to work out in my back and I need to get these glasses off.
I managed to scratch the left lense of my glasses today. Not a nice normal scratch, mind you, but a dot - a dot! - right there where it's an irritant. Obviously I'm going to have to make some magic happen to replace them, because good eyesight is important. My first reaction was an unexpected "Maybe it's time to dig out that course on "Sight Without Glasses" you have buried in the library. "
Remember me? The eternal optimist? Yeah, sometimes I surprise myself.
