The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

I'll be looking forward to seeing what happens when SweetSue get into Serious Growing Mode. Sounds...serious.....kinda' like "Viewer discretion is advised. DO NOT try this at home."

It's going pretty good it's July and that's when things started to get exciting last year aaaannnddd about this time last year I had to listen to my wife start to complain that I'm outside too much aaaaaaand I'm hearing it again around the same time of year! I try to tell her at least it's a hobby I can do at home and is inexpensive. She'll be happy when I harvest and she can bake all the edibles she wants! I keep reminding her of that but I think it's because I have my hands all over other "girls" that are not her. Stop by anytime u want Sue ur more than welcome!

Sue, are you using DeStress 1x/week?
with the Auto JH x Auto Amnesia, i would give them some Transplant in water, then next give them GE/Transplant /Tea on next watering.
they look great sue!

Thanks Ziggy, I'll follow your advice. Yes, they get DeStress every week too.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. That African Buzz is looking amazing. I can't believe how she's stacking flowers up.

I went to check it out and that screen is looking exciting. I can't believe how tall some of the others have grown. Love the outdoor grows.

I figured out what it is! Take a look at this and tell me you don't see a den of Chinese Bearded Dragons taking flight.

Ok, that doesn't explain the gut-wrenching reaction every time I see it, :laughtwo: but it does answer that nagging question of "Why am I so mesmerized?"

They look like Chinese Air Dragons to me..

Most particularly the ones in the lower right corner, right? They even look like the jaws are open. Fascinating.

Sue, you have the Jamaican Dream, too, right? Have you looked at that in GTs cup winners? You could start one of those in HB two weeks after the Carnival. You would still have half your tent to play with Dr. Ziggy banquet chef rip and run production SWICKS in both HB and CC at the same time you were questing for the next Michelin Star - classic HB growing of larger plants.

I don't know what this mean but it sounds great :smokin2:

lol. Chef stuff. A solid banquet chef is NOT a shoemaker. It's just a little more bumping and aggressive to get the job done than the fussy primadonnas who can spend the time to get their toasted Marcona almond foam just the right consistency. Both are beautiful in their own way.

Hey, when Chef Ziggy holds that banquet I want to be first in line! :laughtwo:

I was planning the Jamaican Dream in the LOS this time PeeJay. I do plan to do one in the future in HB Kit soil, but we have to remember that the last month of the SWICK trays those six plants will be out on the main dance floor with the big pots. Although, I could probably get another pot in there, and I have another 7 gallon pot to play with. You make a tempting proposal.

Why wait two weeks though? Why not start them together?

You are such a hoot!

Ah. Now I catch your drift. I worked in kitchens too (not a chef by any means) so I can relate to the analogy.

I was always that kid at the Cub Scout pot lucks... First in line.

Wait two weeks because you don't know where you'll find your passion. If you wait two weeks it's a logical step towards getting a solid HB perpetual going if you decide to go that route. That two week lag may seem like a long time now but if you are unhappy with the Carnival when that gets chopped you have 1/4 of the tent to add a new SWICK and two weeks later you can start cycling the whole rig SWICKy if you choose that route. With your veg space you want to hit a cycle in either event. You're going to be swimming in pot one way or another soon enough. I'm just encouraging you to stay limber.
