The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

There was a time, back in the early 90s when our son was over 10 yrs old, that we had tens of thousands of Lego pieces.

Rad, I had to laugh. This is exactly how we shop for them. We purchase sets for the individual specialized pieces contained within.

I must sleep more. Somewhere around 9:30 PM I fell asleep, waking up about 30 min ago. Instead of wandering through the threads, as was my plan, I'm going back to sleep.

Chicago Won the Stanley Cup! Yay! Original 6 team from the Toughest division in NHL :) Now maybe I can catch up on all the journals. I hope you and Dale had a pleasant day of visiting and sharing with your family

WooHoo!!! Great news! :party::slide::party:

It was a delightful day. If you haven't done so already, check out the June MOTM thread. We laughed so hard it sometimes hurt.

they deleted my joke for the word F***

It's their job to maintain a standard Bear. Don't hate them for doing that well. They always make me proud to be here.

not mad just thought it was a good joke

I'm reviewing the photos for the update and this caught my eye. Hidden up under the canopy

This is what I suspect, isn't it?

If you suspect a rooster is prowling in your barn of hens then yes.

gonna say it here but change it so they wont do it again

man walking down the street sees a sign loose 20 lbs for 10 dollars so he goes in and asks the lady behind the desk about it pays his 10.00 and the lady takes him to a room and sitting in the middle of the room is a beautiful naked woman with a sign around her neck saying you catch me you F*** me and gets up and starts running around the room triy as he might he doesn't catch her. The next day he goes back and there is a sign that says loose 40 lbs 20 dollars he goes in pays 20 and sitting in the middle of the room again is a even more beautiful naked woman with the same sign she gets up and starts running around the room alast try as he might he doesn't catch her. the next day is a sign that says loose 100 lbs 50 dollars again he goes u=in pays his money but this time the woman takes him to a differant room and when he walks in the door locks behind him across the room is another door that door opens and this huge gorrrila walks in wearing the same sign as the 2 women...........

Somebody let the bull out of the barn.

so that is what to look for when trying to tell if it is a male?????

thank you gg now I know and i like bearswhoasks

 You guys are such a hoot! Thank you for the confirmation.

I've already called my daughter. She's going to pull that plant from the tent ASAP. You know guys, I don't enjoy finding males in the mix quite as much as you'd think.

This wouldn't be such a frustration if I had more time at home. I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't rethink here and run these four plants without starting any new ones yet. There's just too much going on now, and when I am home I'm usually passing out from exhaustion.

This perpetual thing can be started all over again as soon as Dale passes and I get over the initial grief of losing him. That sounds so much more sane than trying to keep up with 8-10 more plants on top of these.

Decided. I have four plants going right now, all females and all beginning to flower. That's more than enough to keep me sane through this transitional stage. I'm holding off on dropping any more seeds until Dale passes.

A perpetual does require you to think 5 months ahead, so you're gonna have a gap 5 months from now, but the nagging responsibility of nurturing the young ones can be really annoying, too. :cheesygrinsmiley: I had the annoying nag And I failed to nurture my young ones anyway - lose/lose.

Thanks Graytail. I should be able to harvest enough to get me through that spell. If not I guess I just survive until things catch up. It's getting through the cure that'll be the challenge. :laughtwo: I could always plant one more in the LOS pot, because that one would be as simple as plant, water, harvest. Then I at least have one more coming along. A modified perpetual, if you will.

I like the sound of that.

Soooooo, what do I want to grow there? I'm tempted to do another Dark Devil. The one I just harvested is such an incredible high. I know I'm going to want more when it's gone. I didn't expect to find a keeper strain on the first attempt at perpetual, but this one certainly is.

My top 5 strains I hunger to try:
- Medical No Name
- Carnival
- Green Crack
- Jamaican Dream
- Jack Herrer

Looks like a decent start to a seed order. I think I'll get them in and drop the Carnival in with the Cheese Candy. Give that one a go and see what the excitement is all about. I'll order multiple seeds and have some left for the HB kit soil too. Feminized seeds if they're available.

Ok. Feeling better now.

A sweet share. The nurses at hospice decided to begin feeding me on occasion. (I told you it was sweet.) Yesterday they gave us each a menu for today, which means for the first time in four months I'm not finishing off his tray or eating on the run. I'm enjoying a delicious chicken stir fry with tossed salad and desert of a slice of Texas sheet cake with cold milk on the side.

Feeling mighty special and loved right now. :battingeyelashes:

I think you are doing the right thing by holding off any more babies to look after. though 1 more plant cant hurt:thumb:
