I won't be doing an update today. Our daughter is coming over to build the new Jurassic Park Legos with her Dad and I'm choosing to be with my human family rather than run home to tend the garden. Everything can live another day without seeing my shadow.

Thank you Chronic. It was a splendid time. We laughed all over again at the jokes posted on this month's MOTM thread, played with Legos and had a wonderful, joyful visit. Now I'm going home and will take a nap and sleep like a baby. It will probably mean I'll be up most of the night, but oh well.

Ranger, last night I was up until 5 AM!! I don't think I heard yesterday's talking to. Apparently, my psyche is every bit as challenged as yours. Think there's any real hope for us? :laughtwo::green_heart:

It's my plan Duggan, but I also want to refresh this buzz still lingering around the edges from yesterday. ;) This will be the second time I'll try the Dark Devil, anticipating that I surely must be imagining this 24 hr buzz. It's a nice uplifting and slightly speedy buzz too, so sleep may fall by the wayside. I'll be in my own bed tonight though, so I should rest better than in the recliner.

I'm picking up a twin air mattress on my way home. I need to be able to sleep flat. My body can't do sleep on a slope and I'm getting a bit manic from the sleep depravation. It lowers what few inhibitions I still have, which can be challenging for everyone around me. :battingeyelashes:

Dale is still alert and interactive, almost like he wasn't dying at all, if he weren't so weak. We know better. He's backing up with fluid and sooner or later that bad heart won't be able to keep up. They're feeding him a steady stream of serious opiates so he's nicely stoned and enjoying it. My expectation is he simply won't wake up one morning. We're surprisingly comfortable with all of this. He could still hang on longer, but there are so many things trying to be the cause of his passing I'd be surprised if that happens.

I'm on a quest for Legos now. I was fist-gen Lego playa in the early 1970's :)
