can someone tell me what is going on

Bear, I grow in living soils that don't cause deficiencies, so I'm useless to your quest. Post your questions and photos on this forum:

I'm not trying to be harsh, and I don't have the specific reason, but if you are still in coco and perlite, that is the problem.
It could be a PH swing, or a deficiency (like potassium). All I know is I had a lot of the same issues in my last grow in non-soil. Part of my problem was with root aphids, but even before and after that problem, I had leaves much worse the yours. I bet the coco/hempy growers can give you good assistance.

Hey there SS - on the chop for the auto - What I did was wait until no more new pistols at all... no white then waited a day to be sure she was done... probably a little too long for my tastes but hey it is what it is. I like a more upbeat felling specially if its psychedelic; yeah yeah shoot me for being old school, reminds me of the "good ol days", without actually errr tripping (looking over shoulder) can I say that?? hahaha

It's hard to say I'm an auto newb so I just used a little common sense - time driven strain.. wait till she tells me she's finished. No new pistols she's finished! The ruderalis is from Russia, I have a Russian wife, I get the message when the message is sent. She (your lady) will tell you she's finished - it happened over night at least for me it did. No new pistols... problem now is getting her dry enough to smoke. But I suppose thats a good problem to have there, eh?

Hey there Dale :welcome: :thumb: keep it green there buddy!!

I think this one is telling me she's ready BB, regardless of the few white pistils. I'm taking her down before lights on, which in this household is. 4:15 AM. *groan*

:laughtwo: I don't know where the groan came from. You guys (at least some of you) know my penchant for chasing music and working the threads until 4, so it'll just be a tiny bit longer to do the bud wash. I actually got the lemon juice bought this time without having to make a special trip to the store at the last minute. :slide:

We had a nurse here late in the afternoon, keeping me from getting the buckets out. I used them to hold the modified shelf the SWICK tray sits on, so it will need taken apart. I'm not prepared to work that hard early in the morning, especially on the day the light is finally being delivered and I'll need to take everything out to set up the SWICK shelves........ :hmmmm:

I seem to be making a good argument to put this off one more day and get the tent put together first. I could set the Devil out in the sun tomorrow for her last day before chop. Take her last pictures. A little more planning and less winging it. I think that sounds like a good idea. Instead of tomorrow morning I'm scheduling it for Friday. Gives me another day to sleep in.

That feels right. Friday it is. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thank you all for the input.

Sue you should enter her into the POTM contest, she may be smallish but she is a looker. :cheertwo:

well took out all lights and put in the 600w HPS light so far temps seem to be doing ok am also building a flower room here instead of at friends farm. That fell through should have it built by sat or sun so pammy will be on time for her first day of flower next Mon ( 5 weeks is that long enough nute site says 4 week veg )

The 600W HPS is a powerful light Bear. Consider giving her a few hours at a time under it to harden her up a bit before letting her do the whole time under it. Start with maybe an hour a day for a couple days. The a couple hours a day. So on and So on. I'd say stop somewhere around 6 hours a day before going all day to ensure no wilting or shock....

I say this because I can't recall the light you're using. CFL, yes?

mix of cfl and t5 the main plant will be going into flower soon so i she gets adjusted to the light right now it is about 8-10 in from top of plant with ac air blowing right on bulb can put hand on top of plant and not get to warm air coming out is about 10-15 degrees higher than the air going in, Air going in is between 68-72.

hmmmmmmm the guy that grows my meds for now said it would be ok but will look in and see how she is doing

Awwww HH, that's such a sweet thought. Those guys would eat me alive. Hahaha! She's pretty enough for me and the big prize here is she's building meds for me and my man. She's the POTM in this household, and that's enough for me.

I've already won. :laughtwo::green_heart:

Passed right out there. Just woke up. I think the bed calls me.

Goodnight guys.

Hey uhhh, i may have missed it if you said it already. But why do you wash your buds?

Surely you didn't miss my gnat farming adventure Chef. :laughtwo: If you look closely at my photos, every once in a while a gnat stuck in the trichomes is glaringly obvious. There's one such picture in my last update. Add to that the dust and dander that accumulates and you have more on the buds than you can imagine.

The bud wash clears all that away like magic. The additional hydration freshens the harvest and adds to the quality of the cure IMHO. Doc considers it one of his best ideas, and those of us adventurous enough to try agree. Actually, we now think people who DON'T wash their buds to be the adventurous ones. :laughtwo::green_heart:

The link Graytail gave you explains it all.

You won't go back from bud washing!

You wash your hands before you eat, you wash your fruit before you put it in your mouth. Doesn't it follow that you would wash your buds before you take them?
