The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

Watch for those little nubs you see in the nodes to develop small stems, that's what the male parts will do. Female parts kind of flow into the stem and don't create their own.
That's how I identify mine early. :)

I wouldn't call them male just yet, as my partner said.

:circle-of-love:

Thanks for the Thunderpaws pictures. I hope it is a female and that you get the best pheno. Though I suppose it is unlikely with so few growing... Hopefully whatever you do get is good. If it is perhaps you will grow more for the best pheno? A half dozen females would probably be enough.

I'll PM you.

Mon tite fillè, when ya get ready, I'll send you the very best electronic books on cannabinoids as medicine.

Hangover's gone.
I'll chop some wood for ya for the broken stuff.
Still smiling....

SweetSue,

Er, I have rationed fan leaves.

The last time I was in Tucson I stopped in to a dispensary and ask the young lady behind the built proof glass about reciprocal use of medical cards. She said I could have possession and smoke it, I just could not buy it.

Digging into State laws takes some time and I never followed up.

If you are looking to move you need to check out what qualifies as a medical condition and a lot more.

You may want to check into what it takes to qualify as a resident.

Best,
canyon

Just finished my first visit with my PC. I just got medical coverage, so the gentleman who has cared for my entire family except me had his first opportunity to discuss my health openly. It was also the first time I filled in that dot that designated me as a widow. That caused a full-blown broadside of grief that knocked me right over. Thank goodness my daughter was with me. If I'd been alone I'd probably have ended up in fetal position in a corner. As it was it took her ten minutes of walking me through breathing techniques. Geez, sometimes this just sucks.

I survived. I'm so healthy it may be a sin. I got a flu shot in one arm, a pneumonia shot in the other, a script for labs and an appointment for a year. By then maybe I won't live here any more. That seems to be the way my life has been working - achieve the goal, have life change the rules of the game in a way as to make the goal unnecessary.

He's concerned for my emotional well-being. The fatigue is easy to detect in my voice and the slightly manic behavior is something of a give-away. I assured him much of it was due to my sporadic sleep patterns. He cautioned not to make any huge changes for a year and assured me that sleep will indeed return to a more normal standard.

I really like this man.

Canna, thanks. I'm hoping at least one of them is female. They're such beautiful plants that I want desperately to take one to the finish.

Stopping on my way home to pick up more light bulbs. How crazy that the thought of that makes me all excited to get home ASAP and get more lights in the tent. :laughtwo: I need more of this going on:

I'm glad to hear the hangover was minimal. Wasn't that fun? I'll accept the chopped wood, because winter's coming, but that wasn't worth worrying about. Minor damage. It's only stuff, but I'll keep that clumsy when slightly drunk tendency in mind next time and watch more closely. :battingeyelashes:

Check your PMs

Beautiful, just beautiful:Love: My queen of green, I have proposition for you (no pun intended:rofl: ) Could you contact pigeons420 or Mr Am4zin, they have all the details, my this is all cloak and dagger stuff:rofl: I just didn't want to hijack your thread:Love:

I love a cryptic message. Will do. :battingeyelashes:

Back home with $60 worth of additional lighting stuff no one budgeted for. LOL! It's late enough I won't start until tomorrow.

Hi Sue :hugs: Your carnival is just lush. Afghani #2 looks like she could give her a run for her money tho.
Glad you got a clean bill of health, I've had a hard few days, my suit has kept me safe but it's been working overtime. I have an appointment Monday.
Have a nice evening my sweet :hugs::hugs: :hugs::hugs:

i anticipated that and prepared ahead. I can recharge the suit from here. When you read this I want you to take a few minutes and let the hug do its job. Understand?

 :hugs:

As a reminder, your controls are inside wrist, either or both, your choice. Don't be afraid to ramp it up. It has no effect on Mrs. Am4zin, so her love slips right through. It's all in the belief system, and mine is strong enough for the both of us and will easily carry you. :kisstwo:

This is my first run with it...

Your plants are so beautiful and healthy B A R. Have you ever run two of the same strain, one with Lamb's Quarters and one without, to see if there was a discernible difference? I may have missed my chance for seeds this year, but since I have to close it all out before my trip that turned out to be a good thing.

Huh! All those times I chided myself for not doing that and it turns out to be the right choice all along. After 61 years of a life so directed you'd think I'd understand the process better and stop beating myself up. Yeah..... maybe before I'm 80 I'll catch on. Maybe.

I grow the LQ's separately now a days in there own pot of old soil to make it healthier to reuse Sue. I got tired of having them out-growing my plants height-wise and working around them. I must admit though, they worked wonders keeping the cannabis plants looking healthy when we grew them together. The Lamb Quarters you see on the right is in a small pot against the tent wall.

I also use them in salads and saute them with fish.

I find the idea of beneficial companion planting fascinating. I have the scallions in my no-till as a result of Cannabelle's influence. Her contention was that the scallions, cannabis and myco population work together in synergy. One of her points was that if the myco aren't well established the scallions won't thrive. You notice the sad one in with my Afghani? I think a tea is called for. The ones in my no-till are monsters.

Given a healthy myco population the scallions will assist the soil in the breakdown of mineral nutrients. With the triad in place everything in the pot should perform beautifully and you should anticipate a worthy harvest.

The scallions offer the additional benefit of modulating the smell of the ripening cannabis. I find that to be very true in my no-till. You can barely smell the White Widow. :hmmm: Should I be concerned with that? Is it possible I'm interfering with terpene development? I'll have to harvest and test before I'll know if that mattered.

The Lambs Quarter's intrigues me as well, because I remember your excitement that you could see the difference in your plants. No way to keep it trimmed to controllable levels?

I wasn't aware they were edible. You are so inventive and surprising Reg. :laughtwo: Silly me, I shouldn't be surprised by anything you do, should I? :battingeyelashes:

It's been called the super-powered greens of leafy edible greens because of it's beneficial nutrients.

Here's a "COPY & PASTE"

Lamb's Quarters is an annual wild edible that from a distance, tends to always looks dusty; this is because there is a white powdery coating on the leaves. Lambs Quarters is a purifying plant and helps to restore healthy nutrients to the soil if need be. However, if there is a large patch of lamb's quarters, be sure that the soil is relatively good and not contaminated. This unique plant tends to spread quickly in areas in which soil is contaminated in order to restore nutrients. This wild edible has an earthy, mineral rich taste; some say is close to chard. It's difficult to describe, but if you enjoy leafy greens such as kale, collards, and spinach then chances are you will like lambs quarter.

Thanks B A R. I'm gonna have to try that sometime. I'm a big fan of greens of any type. Cool!
