The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

SweetSue~ Your carnival looks ... wow! Beautiful and green. Lush and thick.

I like all your plants. The little ones amuse me, so small but flowering like champs.

:thumb: (I think this smilie needs a smidge of green added to the thumb. hehe)

You darling girl. :laughtwo: Carnival is the healthiest plant I have had the privilege to stand next to. That's no exaggeration. This batch here is lovely, every one. Did you see that Kalashnikova? What a gorgeous leaf structure.

Your Loise has revegged herself into a champ. What a wonder to watch, eh?

It certainly looks it. Gorgeous. Reminds me of a prolific houseplant. Like a fern or something. I think ferns and ivys and pretty much the prettiest plants around. Not counting the apple of all of our eyes, cannabis, of course. I confess, there are so many plants in the grow now that I no longer try to keep them straight. I will keep a special eye out just for the Kalashnikova. Im still bummed the first one didnt make it.

 My Louise brings nothing but smiles to my face. Im over the moon proud of her. :)

Just now getting my feet to the floor. I need to stop bringing the iPad into the bedroom. LOL!

My morning treat guys. Isn't life sweet? This is from Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia, three days out from her second CAT drench. I went looking and can't find a decent pre-drench picture for comparison. Enjoy. This is just because I love to indulge you. :kisstwo:

More sleep means hands are more stable when taking photos Susan. Try to get more sleep.

Nice and fuzzy. Just the way I like 'em.

Daily Update: Perpetual Tent - Week 19, Day 4

Maintenance notes:

- All kit plants got a DeStress foliar. That's so much easier to do when I've been up all night. :laughtwo:
- Auto Jack Herer got the first CAT drench. Somehow this cannabis cultivator completely forgot that this plant gets a CAT drench. Imagine that. One of my charges got overlooked. Yeah, simplify Susan. Anyway, she got it now.
- Took a lot of pictures. Wanna see them?

It's a bit cooler than I want with the Dorm Grow off, but I don't see it as a danger sign.

Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia (Day 56), three days out from her second CAT drench and swelling up and stinky and SweetSue's getting excited 'cause she suspects this is going to waaaay surpass the first try. :slide:

The New Year's Bag Seed got her first CAT drench yesterday and look at her today! :laughtwo: I didn't see any nearby sockets she could have plugged into. LOL!!!

This is the Unknown seed, the only one I got to germinate, but also the only unsexed plant in this tent, and therefore at risk of being snatched out of the tent should it present as male. That made it an excellent candidate for play. I decided to try dropping those gangly tops down, just for grins, and to give this teeny ones a little advantage. As I thought about the best way to get them down I spotted the pipe cleaners and thought "Why not?"

image32729.jpg

I put it back in the tent about 6 this morning after the DeStress and took it out about 10:30, removing the pipe cleaners. When I put it in none of those tops were reaching for the light. I laughed right out loud when I spotted them with that curve. By tomorrow morning these branches will probably be straight again.

image32730.jpg

Still no definitive sexual expression.

image32731.jpg

Before I put it back I decided to practice making use of these two fan leaves to restrain two of the leaders a bit longer. Let's see how long that will work. See? I was paying attention Graytail. :battingeyelashes:

That was fun. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Carnival (Day 63) Gathering her forces. Can you feel it?

My promise for the future.

image32744.jpg

The Dark Devil Auto sprout has purpling in the center of the leaves. So pretty. I'm so excited to have more growing, and to have three going at once...... I'm beside myself. :laughtwo:

image32745.jpg

I hope this finds you in the midst of a luscious day filled to overflowing with love. There's the drive of all life, the full expression of love. In humans that reaches its highest expression through the power of touch, so do your best to grab some hugs along the way. It's my understanding that the entire purpose of life is to love and be loved in return. Make me proud people. Outdo yourselves today. :battingeyelashes:

I'll be floating around. Still have to make some coffee and have something substantial to eat. Oh yeah - it's Dale's birthday. I'm taking me out to dinner to celebrate a life well lived and filled with love and laughter, right down to the end. I miss you lover. Geez...... Whew! That one came and went quickly but with an extra-special punch. I'm OK guys. Really. That shift in the universe I thought I felt the other day apparently really happened and I'm much better and stronger than even I thought possible.

You guys make good shepherds of the heart.

I'll see you around the threads. :hugs:

:Namaste:

i bet that will be kick butt sue ;)

I sure expect it to kick serious butt Ziggy. The first attempt was spectacular, but it was mishandled. This one looks fabulous and no where near done. Watch it fill out and swell. :laughtwo:

Thanks. :high-five:

Is it weird to be sitting here looking at your pictures and smelling my fingers? I should qualify that with I just finished leafing two plants for harvest in the AM. It's not exactly scratch and sniff, but it made the viewing experience better!

:laughtwo:

I had to go back and look at your cheese candy again. :dreamy: I've got 2 freebie beans on the way.

Kalashnikova Auto (Day 32)

image32736.jpg

Oh my goodness! She is completely adorable. Shes pocket-sized. :) I just want to hug her and squeeze her, but Ill refrain. hehe

I just love little miniatures. My chihuahua, Fancy, is super tiny, too, even for the breed. My kitten is bigger than my dog. haha

All of your plants are fantabulous, as ever. Its too bad you dont live in Texas anymore. Eventho I dont live there either, Id surely make the trip to meet you and maybe dip my thumb in your soil or something to make it as green as yours. hehe

Toodles!~

You'll do better with yours than I did with mine, so I expect documentation. :laughtwo: Its an incredibly pleasing smoking experience and just the sweetest high with no let down at all. Fun times ahead for you.

Thanks Baby, and if I EVER head out on the road west you'll be one of my stops, for sure. :hugs:

I love it! That's about as low stress as you can get. To bad it's a regular photo mystery seed, let's hope it's a girl. I want to see this style training play out.

Thanks B A R. :battingeyelashes: It came to me in a flash of inspiration. I can't wait to try it out on another plant. You play with it wth yours and we'll have it covered twice. Power in exposure. :high-five:

I've also suddenly taken a bigger interest in your Afghani, as I have 10 free beans of those coming too.

I expect a manual to show us how to express its traits fully. :reading420magazine:

Duly noted SIR! :laughtwo: I'll do my best.

Lots of love here for you Sue. You are doing great, can't wait to see how you do with the kit this run.

Thank you and an official :welcome: to the thread Juan. I bought those buckets, and now I've finished dinner so I'm heading home to see if they'll work as perfectly as I suspect they will.

JuanCarlos shared one of his secrets for drenches with me today. He discovered that these 2 1/2 quart paint buckets you can get at the big-box hardware stores for less than $3 apiece will hold a one gallon plastic pot with room for drench. As soon as I spotted them I could see how they'd work with the right-sized pot. I wanted to share the idea because it might be just what someone is looking for, and when he suggested it I thought "Why didn't I think of that?"

image32748.jpg

Unfortunately, they won't work for me because I'm using the fabric Geo Pots and azalea pots, both of which are too big to fit these pails, so mine are going back tomorrow. I think they have a bucket just a little bigger that might work for me. If not, I'm going to roam the store and see what else I can find that might work. All I need is two. This time I'll take pots with me for fitting. That's ok. It gives me another reason to go to Lowe's. Love that store. So many creative ideas pop while I roam their aisles. :laughtwo:

For anyone who missed it, HealingKronic ran his kit grow starting in one gallon Geo Pots and then simply set pot and all into the finish pot and filled around it. No transplanting guys. Think of it. His plants were killers. The smallest plant in his grow was the one he transplanted out of the one gallon in a traditional approach. From now on I'm planning to start in one gallons and then follow his lead to set pot and all down into the finish pot and let it rip.

I love simplicity. Thank you HealingKronic. He also ran his grow on a SWICK setup. The man made me proud. :cheesygrinsmiley:

It's 11 PM. Why not? :laughtwo:
