The Hempire Strikes Back!

Just figured id do a little update.
I started training the new sour d mother the goal is to keep her small and manageable so i can still have room in my veg box for other plants

The flowering girls are doing good i can see that the smaller girls will be making buds very soon, im not super sure if they qualify as the "firework stage" as tead puts it but they are definitely switching gears. The big girl in flowering is like a half step behind the small girls i can see the pistils becoming more noticable but they aren't quite to the point of the smaller girls but probably will be soon.

And finally i got around to germinating a huckleberry so its just a waiting game there! Im excited to get that one started.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if one were growing without limitations?
Sux.
I mean, we all wanna grow trees, but reality bites our asses.
Some day, it might be cool for me to grow outside. If that day ever arrives, I'll be a very happy guy. I have serious tree plans... harvesting with a ladder kind of tree plans.

Haha that would be awesome! Id love to grow outside but alas it isn't time for that yet

Well i went to go plant the huckleberry seed only to find out it wasn't exactly a seed anymore. First time this has ever happened to me, i planted it guess we will see if takes or not lol

Its good to have life in the bloom box once again. Ive always been surprised at the lack of stretch from this strain not complaining though since it works out for me lol.

Wow! Green and beautiful! And that sour d mom looks like she may be quite the lovely beast!

Thanks Big Sparks if the bushy former mother does as well as my last girl her size should be around 37g dry but its too soon to tell for certain lol

Just thought id do a quick little update just cause.

Update time.
The Sour D mother has some weird clawing going on, I've tried flushing and the usual bit however she is still doing it. The huckleberry seedling is moving slow understandable since temps have been low here and the garden dips every so often til i go turn on the heat.

The girls in flower are doing well the big one is showing that she too has been affected slightly by the temps but not horribly so. The budsabers are coming along very nicely, already making sugar lol. The big bush has just started making trichomes.
First up are the budsabers

Clawing can be caused by nitrogen toxicity, over watering and heat stress. Those are the top of the list issues that I'm aware of. Nitrogen toxicity will have dark green and pale rather than waxy leaves. Over watering causes the leaves to yellow slowly. Heat stress issue usually has the leaf edges curled as well. Peace!!

I knew that sour d mom was gonna be a big ole bia-tch! Sure is that! But shes dafinitely having some issues...maybe try some epsoms salts, and/or some cal/mag with your next watering or two but maybe hold back on anything else for the moment or until problem at least stops from getting worse than it already is, ya know.

Ya she's pretty big, its not a calmag problem though they all get plenty of that im sure its just the low temps im used to seeing it in the winter. It's been below zero for like a week or two now so im not too surprised.

Ya normally you would be correct however in this case those possibilitys can be ruled out. It wouldn't be nitrogen toxicity since she's been on lower dose of nutes then i typically would run and the leaves are fairly light green. Im fairly certain its not overwatering since i can't go more then like 3-4 days or else she will wilt from underwatering, plus Tead and myself have discussed whether overwatering in perlite hempys is even possible and im inclined to believe Tead on the matter he had valid points on the matter. Its definitely not heat stress since temps have actually been low lately. Im inclined to think its probably PH issues, had to recalibrate the ole PH meter recently so I think i just need to drop the ph a wee bit lol.
