Ya i had seen you saying that and all i could think was damn that's a low ph lol. Is it super important to pay attention to runoff in coco? I honestly don't check it in hempys it doesn't seem to do much good and besides my problem turned out to be what i was putting in was wrong lol. I wasn't accounting for the drift thanks to everyone who follows this journal now i do lol.
 
I dn't use runoff anymore as a method of measuring variables in my grow.

With coco- what comes in must come out - if one waters until runoff.

So I guess coco is forgiving and simple.

so ive been wondering why is it that my flowering girls older leaves are looking so rough like the newer leaves are a nice jade green but the older leaves are yellowing from the tips down. Bud production is progressing at a good rate and the girls don't seem to be suffering horribly, i still suspect heat stress or light burn and im not super sure which i would call it either, other then that they seem fine. I know that in the end the leaves aren't what we as growers are after but i do want them to have them come harvest time lol. Im just curious about this as i said they really dont seem to be suffering just wanna know whats up. The leaves are typically raised up which i keep reading means they are happy so maybe im reading into this too much but i would like to understand.

Ya ive read about them pulling nutes from the older leaves and about how damaged leaves never recover. I just kinda thought it was a bit early for them to start pulling nutes from the older leaves plus they are definitely not underfed i also have the ph squared away thanks to you i just get a bit puzzled some times i guess lol. I wanna do right by my girls and a decent amount of the time i doubt whether i am but i probably shouldn't go too ocd here cause as i said the buds are chugging along just fine. I think i just over analyze my plants lol.
 
Indoor growing is just a pain in the butt .

When something's not right with my plants leaves it causes me to start plucking off the damaged ones.
It doesn't help the plant though.
Check your feed's PPM and PH, keep temps below 80F, check humidity.
You're in flower now so don't up pot them they won't like it this late in the game.

It is indeed a pain lol. I can say my ph and ppms are alright or atleast should be. I know its slightly warmer in there then usual that cause the weather of where im at ain't been too nice lately. Gonna pick up one of the hygrometer things here soon. I also need more perlite and peat pellets lol.i definitely won't be up potting not my style lol i am quite fond of my little containers lol
 
hygrometer = a great addition to your grow setup

I broke one I had by using it somewhere else, and then started a new grow and had a myriad of mysterious plant problems.

After many months wasted, got another hygrometer and since then the grow has skyrocketed.
 
:tokin:ok i have to make a confession and i don't like having to tattle on myself but it crazy worth it lol! So i have this thing i like to do you all will think its bad and i totally understand why ya would and im fully aware of the reasons why but i snipped off some the itty bitty popcorn buds and made qwiso with them and i am sooooooo stoned lol i haven't had anything for like 2 months! The intial rush was amazing and i was immediately relaxed then i felt an awesome sense of peace. Then it got more intense and i started to realize damn im super stoned and now im so slow and stupid stoned lol before you hate just know im so stoned this post took me 25 mins to write lol. :tokin:
 
Duh forgot to say the reason tattling was worth it lol i can tell the sour diesel is gonna be awesome when its done! :tokin:

Ya i didn't exactly take 2 month break willingly lol i mean i guess i kinda did since i just can't bring myself to smome anything but my own now lol
 
There is very little herb I would smoke besides my own. A few people have given me some and it sits around unloved. I would smoke 99% of what I see on the forums though! And here's a confession. On my first grow here I was on a two year break and I definitely took some "tasters."
I didn't even need to make Qwiso. A few bong hits of huckleberry Kush lower buds and I was full on scared out of my mind. Peeking out the window, looking for government agents! :rofl:
