That multicolored pH chart is popular because of being colorful but I find it lacks information because it represents availability as bars and isn't quite accurate. I like the old tried and true chart. Looking at the chart you can see why we would want it to drift up from 5.5. Have you calibrated your pH meter Lex? Or do you just think the feeding was too light?

I can see the mag def and also the nitrogen mixed with a touch of what looks like heat stress. If there is a root issue it may help cause all those things.

At first i believe it was the ph being off then it seemed to be underfeeding its getting better everyday now that I started phing around 5.5 and upd the dose of nutes.

So i been wondering since i can't find a solid answer how much can you cutt off a veg plant? Like lets just say sally is getting far too tall for my space and i wanted to make her shorter is it ok to cut her down so she is about 4-6inches shorter? I have never done any major cutting on my plants sure ive topped plants and taken 4-5 inch clones but i have never intentionally cut them down to make em shorter. I realize that if i were to do it she would stall but honestly im ok with that i wanna keep her as a mother. I might just do it and see what happens but i wanted to check with you all and get your input. I also realize it would be better to lst her however even then i don't think id have space for her. In a hour roughly i should have pictures up of what all is going on lol.

I regularly chop off up to half a plant in veg. No issues besides a couple day adjustment period.

Thank you for the prompt response shiggity it is very appreciated! Alot faster then i was expecting lol. Gotta go upload the pictures now lol

Ok so i been a little busy lately but here goes! Sally has been vegging for roughly 11 weeks so far and she is giant and it kinda threw me for a loop lol she isn't the best looking but she is doing alot better then she was

My clones rooted and were placed in their hempys yesterday so they are still in limbo since the roots haven't hit the res yet
20160726_190307.jpg

My flowering girls are roughly 18 days since the flip to 12/12 and they been doing ok they are a little heat stressed and some of their older leaves are a bit rough since i hadn't been feeding them enough about a week back or so. Their new growth is a good green so im pretty sure i remedied that.

Is Sally just a mother plant or are you actually going to flower her?
Such dense canopy...

Just trying to keep her as a mother lol id be afraid she would out grow my flowering box at this point if i did flower her lol

I bothered to look back through the journal and found out that her setback was caused by PH issues. Oh well it happens to the best of us noobs. Last week I didn't realize that my reservoir was at 4.8 and it gave me magnesium troubles.
keep up the good work everything looks better now :bongrip:
