BTW, I've started misting my cuttings at day 8 with a seaweed KNF foliar. I root in straight perlite and the cuts get pretty ragged looking by weeks 6-8. So far seems to be working pretty well with the cuttings holding their nice green color.
Very interestingšŸ˜ŽšŸ‘. Please let me know what you find.
I did pretty well. My comfrey plants are growing nicely and after next season i should have well in excess of what I need.
lol like you can ever get enough. I bet it makes good compost.
Those are in the ground so the famous tap root can do its thing. The Stinging nettle I grow in pots to try to keep them constrained, and this year I added a couple more pots to the mix. The roots are supposed to make a healthy tea so I'm anxious to try some of that as well.
How big do stinging nettles get in the pots? Sips?

Her main colas are all flopping now. Most are strung up.

If larf valley starts to flop I'm screwed. That's a lot of sky hooks.

Hey Gee Man your gonna need a left handed smoke shifter to go with those sky hooks after the cure. Looking good!

I'll let you know once I pot up the first batch. So far the tops look better than normal and they seem to have more roots below. I root in clear containers inside opaque ones so I can monitor progress. I did 1 week water only foliar, and then 3 weeks with the seaweed foliar.

It's a really good compost starter material to heat things up.

I did some of each to see. Last year was just sips and I only got the typical feather roots which weren't that great for drying and making tea so I'm trying a normal pot as well this year. Haven't harvested them yet though.

I did several harvests during the season to prevent them from flowering because if I were to let them flower and seed they can be pretty invasive. So, maybe a foot or so tall each harvest?
