Congrats on the retirement Gee hope you enjoy it, & thanks for all the info on your thread you & others provide & discuss not that i grow organics (yet!) but finding a lot of info that i've been over looking
Thanks Con. A lot of what's here is about organics, but things like VPD or PPFD or calcium topics generally apply to all types of grows. You may have to slant it towards your style, but in general growing is growing.

Brix and soil are organic based, but lots of other stuff is universal.

All my girls are alive! I have a few weeks to go on the Sour Diesel & two autos that just won’t finish. Still have the SD clone vegging for now…
Nice! alive is a good thing🤣🤣. It's been a really busy week, I'll get over to your journal now that I have the time. I'm looking forward to catching up on everyones journal.

Don't hesitate to post links to your grows in here everyone. That's how crowd sourcing works.👍👊

Life got busy... Hey Pal, I retired today so it's all about me. Set your life aside and serve me some plant porn damnit!!🤣🤣🤣
Congrats 🎉 I have a sneaking suspicion that you'll be able to sit still if your digging into that sativa stash you have more often :lot-o-toke:.

Ok so I'm thinking I may have picked up the start of a Mag deficiency. The girls had grown towards the light and the tops were probably into the 1200+ ppd range. There's a slight magenta hue at the tips and the saw teeth. It's only on the tallest colas and only the top 3-4 sets.

This is on the haze plant and she's been sucking down the Calcium so I'm thinking I may have to up her Dolomite maintenance dose a hair more.

Also I accidentally ordered Glacial Rock Dust when I first bought Gaia Green and never used it. I've been afraid to use it because it contains no calcium and I know that it's best to use them both at the same time.

So on the topic of VPD, who wants to see a cool thing? It's a 2 part post as it requires 12 pictures, so please let part 2 get posted before you post in between the parts.

Watch the leaf temps in the pic's, and once they reach 74 then watch RH to the end.

The intensity of light is what will raise leaf temps, and a combination of turning it up/down and plant height keeps it dialed in. As the plant gets taller it is identical to turning the light up. You may actually have to turn the light down from timecto time.

If you follow this your roots and shoots will stay ratioed properly if your soil and watering practices are solid.

Each picture includes a growth phase reference under the value being displayed, so please compare the value, and each picture is 1 week, so pic 1 is sprout time, pic 2 is week 2, etc.

So here it goes...

I think iv just found a free on google @Thirvnrob

Let @Gee64 check it out to make sure it’s legit, or try the same numbers Gee put in with he’s post , see if it’s the same :thumb:

Sooooo, then  not retired. Got it. :thumb:

:laughtwo:
Maybe...? again... sorta.... it might stick...🤣🤣🤣

Most definitely! 😎

Myself I like 75ppm, but your brix are really high so what do I know🤣

If you use too much light you need CO2 supplementation. When a plant runs out of atmospheric carbon it stresses really hard and will sweat out magnesium. So that may be your issue. To be safe start with lowering that ppfd or strapping those colas down a bit.

What's your RH?

I use a bit of glacial rock dust in every batch I cook. I don't really advertise it because in 20 gallons I only use 4 tablespoons but diversity is good.

Using it as a light top dressing 1 time won't hurt, but your brix say you are balanced so I wouldn't do anything yet.

Run a brix test and see if they are crashing. If they are lets figure that out, but if brix is still good my guess would be too much light and probably, but not nescessarily too low of RH.

If RH isn't below 50 then is your air temp spiking?

Check your pot moisture levels, are they dry?

Dumb question but you just rebuilt air ventilation, are you sure it's functioning? Did you plug the fan back in?

Did taking the filter off the roof stop the heat from venting, what's the temps up there?

Or are you now venting out a lower vent hole? If so CO2 is heavy, so there is a huge advantage to venting from the top and a huge disadvantage from venting from the bottom. Air intake should be low and exhaust up high.

Have you by chance used gypsum lately?

I got it off the Google Play Store, but I see it's not there now. Any 3 input VPD calculator will work.

This one looks good Kal👍👊. Use the leaf VPD side. It will have the correct formula for what you want. It's good to see air VPD next to it, you don't ever want leaf VPD to be higher than air VPD or you get issues quickly. The stomata will shut down and transpiration will stop.

I've raised the light and backed off the intensity a hair.
What's your RH?
56-58%, I've been using the humidifier to keep it up

I Brixed her and she was 15 with a more defined line

Lol yep believe me I thought about this and also have the fan sucking the right direction.

Nope no gypsum but it's only a couple clicks away lol.

There's your isdue. Get the dolowater. You will probably need it worked in regularly until harvest now.

Ixnay on the gypsum. I just asked because it could have thrown off your calcium to magnesium ratio, but if brix is dropping and your line is crisp thats your problem.
Gotta love refractometers😎

You got this G👊

Good Morning Everyone😊☕👊. Carmen Good Afternoon😊🍻👊.

I want to give a shout out to G-one-three.
G hit 20 brix. That's no small feat. It's hard to do and really it means you got it all correct. As we all know thats not easy and takes dedication.

You officially have bragging rights and street cred G. No one can take that away from you😎.

The 1st hit is the best hit.

Well done G👊

I guess if I'm giving shoutouts I should give a shout out to Azi too.

I'm not sure if you guys are aware, but all the issues and things Azi and I are working thru on his plants isn't to teach him how to grow, he can do that just fine. He is working diligently to be able to grow excellent weed in a SIP from only ingredients on his property.

High Brix weed, and in a SIP.

This is a big and long undertaking with a lot of moving parts, but when he gets it all working we are all going to see something pretty cool.

We are lucky to share this with him.

So Thanks Azi🍻👊.
