First pic is 4 NL fem'd and 1 midget !,2nd wk of flowering, added 2 42 w cfls, 2 more wk 2 pics, new tent with those 2 clones starting , new clones after a couple of wks LED is earthfire gardens 288 watt so far so good !! the last 2 are the clones after a wk under a 400 hps, there now under the LED/cfl :peace:

and let me take time to tell you, you are so very appreicated here and so well respected and you certainly help make us Deep Water Culture look good, very good. I see you greeting new members and helping newbs and answering questions all the time. I am proud to call you friend and grow-bro.

I need to say that to many others members here, and I will work on being a better grow-bro, but I wanted to take this opportunity to say I applaud you and what you do here.

Well Agent Green since you asked. Pretty simple really. Right now my plants have finished their first week of flower. They are a 7-10 week flower strain. The plan is to veg them under a 250 with a mh conversion bulb and my 5000 and 6500k cfl's. Should take about a week max to get the seeds popped and to the seedling stage. They will stay next to me in my office in a dome covered plant flat.

This time all will be in rockwool. When the time comes I will bring them downstairs to the veg area and since I'm using less lumens than this time they should grow slightly slower and be ready by the time my flower plants have finished. If they get too big I can always start them on 12/12 downstairs.

May take clones while they are downstairs and may not. Either way about every 8-12 weeks I should have a harvest.

BTW I disconnected 4 lights in my veggies to reduce heat a little. I now have only two 85 watts going, two spectrums. They are young so it is more then enough.
 
Love my new phone, makes it easy to check up on the Deep Water Culture thread whenever, wherever. Seeds have been soaking for about six hours so I just transferred them into damp paper towels onto the cablebox. Another day or two and we should see some babies!!! :)

Ok Deep Water Culture and others. I bought dawn yesterday to rid my outside plants of mites and my inside veggies of my one gnat that I already killed.

I searched for the recipe for the dawn and water but can't find it. Please give me the recipe for the dawn to spray on my plants.

I wish there was one comprehensive thread on pests that covered both store and natural products with how to make them but noooooooooooooooo. My head is not clear enough to search for hours.

Ok but do you have a recipe? This will help me learn how to get rid of them when growing my meds. The bugs outside have been there a while but now I want to see what happens and if the dawn will work.

Soap, real soap, is a mixture of LYE, ( a strong acid derived from potash) and OIL or FAT.

DAWN is a bunch of chemicals.

I'm not saying Dawn won't work, but I've never seen a recipe for a pesticide using it.

Back in my hippie days, we used to make our own soap. Fun and easy too.

All you need is a bunch of ashes and some oil .
 
I really thought I read a lot of people using dawn to coat the leaves but then again my head is stuffed up for months. i will just let the bugs feast on the plants and return the dawn.
 
Update!!! Day 25 in Flowering :cool: Everything is going well only had a lil minor problem .. the buds started to fill in so it made the plant heavier , so it tip over and was burning on a cfl .. thank god i came in just in time to help it out .. anyways here you go my fellow bubblesheads ..bud porn!! :popcorn:
