I've used insecticidal soap on my houseplants when I found a bag of potatoes that went bad. It made a bunch of fungus gnats that were buzzing and nesting in my regular houseplants. I think I got it for under 2 dollars at Wal Mart. The only issue that I had with it, is that it has salts in it.

I'm not sure what kind of pest issues you have, but the insecticidal soap did work well on my houseplants. I just had to give them a flush of pure water once a week after I sprayed them to limit the buildup of salts.

I think I will just mix a smidge of dawn with water and spray on the outside plants. I will see what happens. I couldn't care less if they die. I am not going to flush. I have what I think is mites outside but didn't look with a magnifying glass and gnats inside.

Ok Deep Water Culture and others. I bought dawn yesterday to rid my outside plants of mites and my inside veggies of my one gnat that I already killed.

I searched for the recipe for the dawn and water but can't find it. Please give me the recipe for the dawn to spray on my plants.

I wish there was one comprehensive thread on pests that covered both store and natural products with how to make them but noooooooooooooooo. My head is not clear enough to search for hours.

I'm right behind you or maybe ahead of you. I started soaking a couple of days ago and my next grow has been in paper towels since last night. Just checked them and most are popped but the tail are still short but tomorrow am sounds about the time I'll plant them girls!

Sweet man, My Northern lights and Trainwreck popped overnight for me last time so we might throw them in the same day! Very Exciting! I just threw them in paper towels today. I love the rush of growing, there's always veggies but MJ a different feeling altogether. Absolutely spiritual.

I envy yall! wish I was @ this step! Got no bud to smoke and been sober for days but only time will tell i guess. Tomorrow My help thread will be up for the new space I have to grow in :)

newbie Deep Water Culture here. Thanx to Rosemans threads I've built my own 10 gallon 4 pot Deep Water Culture system. Just waiting for my new grow space and I will start a grow journal. +reps to Roseman for a ton of info for newbs like me.
