I agree, congrats on the job.

Roseman, when I had to go through drug court for a marijuana possession (felony, ouch!), I stopped using marijuana all together. It took 3 months for my urine to finally be clean, and the amount spiked several times over those 3 months by 20-30ng or whatever measurement they used. I wasn't even within proximity of any marijuana. I received several "sanctions" for this which consisted of 24 hrs, 48 hrs, and finally 72 hrs in jail for a total of three times. It was one of the most horrible events in my life, being treated like that when I wasn't even using (made me feel like a damn criminal, and if you knew me, that's so far from the truth....). I even tried doing research and presenting scientific studies backing my situation. The only problem is, 1 out of 7 scientific studies backed my story. The judge called me a liar and made me an example/laughing stock for all in attendance (I was polite through all of this, though it brought tears to my eyes later). I did learn one thing through that experience though. Acceptance. Also don't be bitter towards those who act against you.:grinjoint:
 
By the way, a little off topic here. Anyone heard of Joe Bonamassa? If you like blues or jazz or anything in between, I really recommend giving this guy a listen. He's a somewhat younger Caucasian guy, but it's hard to tell that by listening.

Going by trich color, waiting to see mostly cloudy or a hint of amber and I'll start the flush. Tonight will be 9 weeks which would be what the seed company said...but all phenos are different
 
Good to hear. I look forward to being able to experiment with harvesting early and later and seeing how the potency and effect differ. Also I look forward to finding some awesome phenos, and when ever I think of good phenos, Subcool and his TGA strains come to mind. He is a great breeder. I think he specializes in recessive genetics/traits.

Excuse my French... That is Fucking lame! When my ex robbed my house the judge sat on a computer in court after she was busted, and looked up the prices to replace my stuff from e-bay. He said he didn't care what I paid for the stuff, it was replacement cost that concerned him not to over charge her for old stuff... On a aside powderheads cannot be saved, at least that one... They belong in DRUG COURT not some pothead... +rep man about the bitter part :welldone:
 
well let me just start out by sayin welcome G Squared anxious to see your journal. I have recently started my first grow they sitting at 4 and 5 weeks if you get time check it out. But if you have any questions there are more than enough ppl here qualified to answer and if someone doesnt know the answer they do thier best to find it for you or forward someone to answer for you. So i cant waite to see what you got comin our way. Good luck bro
 
OK now for some info for me. My buddy in phoenix grows and when i send him pix he tells me i should trim my leaves so the rest can recieve light, but for some reason after i do i kinda feel like i might be shortin myself somehow in the long run. Now i dont know if i am or not but when i see "MOST" (Not all) of everyones plants they look so bushy and i would like to know if i should just stop doin it. Im uploadin just a couple pix now to show ya'll what i got goin and if im ok to just leave her be for a lil.

Leave the leaves at their age it will hinder you, get your grow feet under you before trying anything more advanced.

When I began to read his thread I realized my search had ended. I will admit I was pissed off at him for about 5 mins before I realized he finished his tutorial over here. Seems to be much friendlier over here, I mean the tutorial was 88 pages over there and wasn't even finished. Here it is only 22 pages complete.

I am looking to start my first grow this weekend, but believe it will actually be more like two weekends. I will be using three DIY systems and will be running a small experiment with nutrients. I will be testing and documenting the differences between SH, Advanced Nutrients, and a generic nutrient made by a highly recommended grow shop out of Tampa. I will be posting a journal of the grow and invite you all to follow along.

I am definitely willing to help. Just not sure how helpful I will be as this is my first soil-less grow.

I feel blessed to have stumbled upon such a great group.
