THE WEED GODS HAVE SHINED THEIR LIGHTS UPON ME!!

Today i opened the grow room and my white russina is bouncing back and has life in her stems again.. i lost about 30% of my leaves since they curled and wilted so bad, they'll never recover but the plant is no longer looking like its going to die... i fixed it.

Nice job 253 ...h202 will kill all bacteria good and bad ...

thats something i keep forgetting. i am glad you reminded me of that i had a hunch it was my h202 dunk that did this. i did everything the same way i always do JUST ADDED too much h202 im guessing. locked out the nutes in my plants and had them running dry

Hey Chief glad to hear that she's perked up again, hydro can be so stressful sometimes more work but I guess the rewards make it worthwhile. Hope you got that much needed rest.

i got the rest i'm back in the game and im seeing alot of progress in the WR now. her leaves still droop a little but their getting strength to their stalks again

This grow is a White Widow grow only now..no more White Russian. i killed her off. 5 inches of foam in my rez earlier.

Sorry to hear that man. Always sucks when you gotta kill one of the ladies off. But on a good note your only a few days away from getting a second years supply of papers. Or you could roll one massive cheech and chong joint. :thumb:

dang it sorry chief! that just sucks!

Hey Chief,

I'm sorry to hear about your plant troubles man, that sucks. I wanted to throw this link your way. I've been thinking about running a DWC/RDWC next round and this looks like a (possibly) great defense against a lot of pathogens (kinda sounds like what you had?). I know you're trying to run sterile but it might be something to consider.

I apologize in advance if linking to another forum is not allowed... but it's just where I happened to find the info.

Edit: I guess that's not allowed. Let's try this instead.

I'm feeling for Chief. I will never do a 5 gal bucket grow again. Not unless it's a DIY flo n gro type system......with a chiller attached! I swear the warmer temps in the buckets are causing us our issues Chief.

My guess too. They're tough to keep cool because the lights beat down on them. Gets easier when the plants get bigger, as the foliage shades the buckets some. Would probably help to have a reflective matieral fully covering the lid (maybe you guys have done that, can't remember). I used to constantly shuffle those plastic lunch ice packs in and out of them, but you can't fully keep up easily. A seperate reservoir (making it RDWC) would also help a lot. :)
