Hey bud, how've you been?and thanx, yea i finally got those roots under control (in some sense) now that i've got past the root rot scare i finally got these plants chuggin along making nice progress. i'm flipping next week probably on the 16th. hope to see you for the updates on their size then

my harvest date for the current grow is the 15th of april give or take a few lol, cant wait, dont think youl be dissapointed with wot u get from this grow 253... started with 2 plants then 3.... 4 next grow ??

hey april 15th means you may have time to sample some dry product on 420 lol
it looks like me, my girl, and my kid are moving soon and if we do i'll more than likely get a perpetual grow going and experiment with a 75 gallon rez setup now that i have hydro under control and have an very well understanding of it. maybe get like 15 going at one time. i know i wanna upgrade my setup and get a bigger grow going. im personally bored of 5 gallon bucket small grows. i wanna challenge

you kick ass man! thanx for the compliment! you dont gotta know much about hydro to love watchiung weed grow, i love visiting soil grows. one day i WILL have a soil grow and i wanna understand that the best i can. who knows maybe you'll learn something form me that'll help you out one day in your grows if u ever do hydro. either way ur welcome over here everyday of the week msquared

during my last grow, both my afgooey and master kush were grown in 4.0 PH'd water for a little over a week because i didnt have a PH meter and my ph down was stronger than the bottle said, i fought root rot for 3 weeks in the master kush on top of that. all that had happened by the day of week 7 of that grow and this grow has gone pretty much problem free besides using organic cal mag in hydro. if i jinx myself im going to be pissed but im pretty happy i finally have a problem free grow with no distractions.
Rez change today so i'll see how much sensi grow is left after that and determining weather or not i'm flipping to 12/12 next week

Sound like you have a good handle on your ladies and the next phase will be a blast for sure!!! Can't wait to see how the finish and how much they grow after you flip them.
The pics just get better and better. The growth in the dwc buckets blows away what my smartpots and sunshine advanced mix are able to do.

im still going to give smart pots a go i really want to get a few soil grows under my belt.so quick question for you shotta and anyone whos willing to give me thier opinion on this who grows soil/soiless.
so whats the universal word for growing non-hydro. a buddy of mine keeps correcting me when i say i'm going to try a soil grow by saying "you mean soilless? soil is out doors and soiless is indoors"
i mean c'mon what fuckin idiot doesnt know soil is outside but when i go to a hydro store and tell them im looking for a product and i need some info on it, they always ask me if im growing soil or hydro...im assuming that doesnt mean outdoor and indoor so what im asking is this...If i go and get sunshine advanced mix and some smart pots would i be growing soil or soiless or does the term soil work for both outdoor and indoor?
appreciate any feed back on that one

I call it a soilless mix there is really nothing in my mix in the beginning just some added EWC and mycos. This means that you start using your preferred nutes at 2 weeks from seed maybe three and 1-2 weeks from clones taking root. just feed 1/4 strength the first go and see what the plants do.
You can not go wrong with this stuff. I recommend adding a good amount of perlite and some hydroton to the mix as well. with a healthy layer of hydroton on the bottom.
I say try it out.
I used some ffof before and would choose this stuff before that any day. If I was outdoors I would probably use the ffof

well my friend that is a very good question
soil is about 99% indoor and it kind of depends on your composition of the medium that you are going to use. So say the medium you are chosing says peat/perlite/vermiculite would technically be a soiless medium. coco is a soiless medium. top soil or anything that has a "soil" in it would be just that a soil medium. Most of today's bagged mediums are soiless mixes. Im not sure if this is clear as mud or not, but hope it helps some.

I wouldnt ruine a good thing you got going. if you keep your plants in the same room the stupid gnats will mess with your hydro( i know from experience), and i know you wouldnt like that. plus do you really want to watch your plants at half speed compared to what your use to. not trying to bang the thought. but i just HATE BUGS.

lol no i wasnt going to try growing in soil i was wondering what the usual mediums for indoor growing technical name. i kept telling my buddy i want to try soil instead of hydro next round and he corrected me and said "its not called soil indoors its soiless" any who im not going to use soil im going to use a mixture of things like perlite and anything else i come up with but was curious if i call it soil growing or soiless growing to be technical.. i just figured i called it soil

Status Update
I did a full rez change on all 3 of them tonight and scrubbed the buckets real good with bleach and rinsed them out for a while then cleaned with a clean towel and after adding the amount of sensi grow part A&B and b-52 to equal 1100 on the White Widow and White Russian#1 and 1000 on the White Russian#2 (around 65-70ml) then PH'd my water down to 5.6.
When i come into the house I can smell a real strong over powering smell that smells like my living room is full of weed. Its the White Widow thats doing it. i've read on other links off g0000000gle that people reported their white widow wasnt much in the smell department but its kickin my last grows smells' ass. im starting to get a skunky smell from the Russians but not the super danky smell the Widow is puttin off
