My PPM is 537..temp is 67...how many times thru the day do you check the water???

i check mine when i wake up and 45 minutes before the lights go out to give me time to move them and adjust things..night time is the most important for me. i dont want them in bad PHd water over night id rather them be perfectly tuned in for the night. if your having PH spikes like did in the beggining i checked 3-4 times a day

well i went and changed my grow room around and put the buckets back on the floor since the chain is now long enough to reach them that the plants have gotten taller. The first pic is of them waiting to get put back in and the second is of them finally in there after 45 minutes of me trying to get things situated in there. They are ordered from left to right like this: White Russian#1, White Widow, White Russian#2. the first pics shows how big all their canopys are together even though the WR#2 is a little smaller i still love the way it looks from above

the last pic their droopy because i hadnt PH'd them all morning and finally got time to just before these pics were taken. PH was at 6.1 so i added back the amount of water needed (a little over a half gallon was drank by the Widow) and PH'd down to 5.6 and now im set untill tomorrow morning which i will deffinately be checking them then

whats up bro i noticed you used that h202 stuff. I was talking to my buddie that uses club soda shit from the store i think its like 99cents a bottle. Maybe you use h202 for different reasons. Have you used club soda before?

hey whats up beans. yea i use h202 because my water temps get high randomly and i need as much oxygen as i can to get to my roots during the 2pm heat spike. it doesnt get dangerously high like 69-70 but i had root rot last grow i dont wanna do it again this grow.
club soda sounds interesting. i dont see what about it could hurt. people use club soda to clean stains so i assume it has some sort of oxydizer in it possibly that allows oxygen to get to what its attatching itself too. i'll look into that. it sounds cheaper than h202 thats for sure

7Up at like 25% with water when ever you cut flowers like a rose, and they last forever. But I think I read something about club soda in a Maximum Yield mag or something just the other day.
GL with the plants. I've grown White Russian before. Great plant. Now White Widow, I've grown before, back in like 95'. I got something they claimed was White Widow. I remember is was great genetics in a time when you couldn't just shop around for stock. You either had to know someone or do alittle selective breeding of good bag seed. I couldn't even make a guess at how many bag seed I had to look thru to find good afew good 'tiger striper's' to start the garden with.
I do a occasional hydro myself, but dirt is so much more forgiving. Another good reason for that peroxide is algae control. Temps climb and alot of organics invite algae. They say it will kill your good bacteria also tho.

Yeah club soda seltzer water i belive its the same shit as long as you dont get the one with any sugar content. iv seen my buddies plants purk up after dumping that stuff in. Im not recomending it. it just might be cheaper than buying h202.

my rez temps were WAY cooler last round and they stayed on the floor but i also got my last clones at 14" tall so this time i had to prop them up. but im glad i got them this far for them to be able to fit on the ground and have room for the light.
I hope i get a good yield. i had a buddy come in yesterday and hes one of those "oh your methods ok but mine is way better" type guys. anywho, he came over looked at my plants and said "your plants are bushy and wide but you wont get a big yield becasue theres too many tops formed and i wont get big buds" all that stuff. he grew his straight up with fimming but he missed each time and the fan leaves came in all haggard and destroyed lol. i dunno im doing a good job i feel like, just kinda bums me out when he tell me his methods better, and lollipopping my plant will give me better results... i dunno i try to block it out but its so hard when hes soo misinfored.. he told me PH perfect nutes is a rip off because all nutes are already PH perfect....he obviously never worked in DWC

I wouldn't stress none. Your grow has been great and I would just continue doing what your doing.

yea im not going to let him get to me. its no biggie just kind of a bummer when hes shown me his set up and i've always been respectful of his horrible looking dinky tiny plants and he comes in and says my plants look under fed and will give me tiny buds.
ANYWHO...... I PH'd my water back down to 5.6 in all 3 of my tanks, i boosted the WR#2 into the air with a foot stool so it can get closer to the light since its smaller. i checked my PPMs in all 3 and were 100 off from what i wanted so i added 5ml of each A&B and they all went to where i want.. the lights go off in 10 minutes ill try to get pics up in time

Ok well today i didnt PH my water in the morning. these are them after the rez adjustment. White widow was at 6.0 (middle plant) White Russian#1 was at 5.9 (left) and the White Russian#2 was at 5.7(right) which is just fine but 5.6 is my goal for night time.

Hey chief,
Things are looking nice over here. I just decided to switch my WW to 12/12. I have a question tho. I am wondering if I can turn the lights on an hour earlier today if i set them to go off an hour later. Do you think this will afect the plant at all. I just wanted the lights to pop on at around 5pm right now its wset for six. You think changing the 1 hour today will do anything bad?

club soda and seltzer are similar..the difference is club has sodium seltzer doesn't...at least the seltzer with no additives is the one to use...Chief..you are doin great on your grow..the proof is in the pudding...don't be side=tracked...

if you do change it and make it come on an hour earlier, make sure you set it so it goes off an hour later. i accidentially left my lights on for 2 whole days last grow and i didnt have a problem luckily but dont assume my luck will rub off on ya though i wouldnt recomend anyting more than adjusting your light schedule the way you like it.

thanx miwa. well i came with some updates since last nights were soo sad looking. Last night those pics were taken after they had been sitting in 5.9-6.0 water for the whole day. these new and improved pics are of them after being in 5.6 water over night, actually the water PH is at 5.7 currently and in about an hour ill PH them down to 5.6 again
