That's a hell of a deal, i wonder how often they do that. And I've heard good things about the brand, seems to compare with mars hydro when it comes to customer reviewsif/when the 300 comes in, I wlll let you all know
I'm drawing a blank but how much space do you have height wise?Wow BS~ everything looks happy! Just got caught up~ happy happy plants! Can't wait to jump on the flowering wagon!
Me? My ceilings are 8ft. I can get the light about 7ish, pots at 15"... I think it's still going to be tight depending on much they stretch. I've read where people have hps lighting as close as 8"...I'm drawing a blank but how much space do you have height wise?
Yeah i was just reading some of radogasts posts over on mr. Pinkmsns journal and he said a plant trolling in size is very rare, to just expect doubling. Obviously people on here say a lot and not everything can be taken as gospel but he seems to know what he's talking about.Me? My ceilings are 8ft. I can get the light about 7ish, pots at 15"... so far it seems pretty good. It's only pulling about 150 watts (according to its description) the vipar pulls 135, and my king LED is only pulling 120?.. so far I like the vipar the best. but I do know the UV is working on the bestva,, cause I am getting blisters on my face from being under them too long. (I get that way if I am in direct sunlight in the summer as well) need lots of sunblock,, lmaoThat's a hell of a deal, i wonder how often they do that. no, no pants for my girls, no pantsuits either... hope to not have to discipline her, cause she's the most symmetrical of the bunch, just cute as a button, but if she starts sneaking on pants, there gonna be trouble...I once had a tricotelydon and I found the tri spacing was awesome for growth. If I remember correctly, she decided trousers suited her equally as well as a skirt and thus received terminal disciplinary measures.
Thanks Vesp, you can probably just walk on, no jumping needed, it is a SLOW moving train...lolWow BS~ everything looks happy! Just got caught up~ happy happy plants! Can't wait to jump on the flowering wagon!
4x4x6.5 I think, like 80 inches or soI'm drawing a blank but how much space do you have height wise?

they have not stretched very much. they have gotten a bit wider, but I think the LEDs help control the vertical stretch. I remember stretch being much more significant under the HPS, back in the day
Snarly and i have been discussing how to try and keep our plants from shooting up vertically, we both use LEDs (i use a mars hydro 96 reflector and i believe he has the mars hydro 144 reflector) he's had success keeping his plants down by keeping the light 12in from the canopy and letting them grow within 10in then raising back to 12in so on so forth.
Hey Boom, man you sure get lucky with the freebies
Just flipped on mine, so I'll be watching the stretch closely. Things are getting kind of tight now. I'm thinking I should of started with four instead of six. Time will tell.
Just got the 300W LED from BestVA... woohoo!!!!!!!
Awesome news about the light. So what's the plan with the new light? You gonna toss it in right away (your in flower right now right?) or you gonna hold off till your next grow?
