The BS Journal - Bag Seed - LED - Soil - Frankenpot - 1st Run In A Long Time

I once had a tricotelydon and I found the tri spacing was awesome for growth. If I remember correctly, she decided trousers suited her equally as well as a skirt and thus received terminal disciplinary measures.

Me? My ceilings are 8ft. I can get the light about 7ish, pots at 15"... I think it's still going to be tight depending on much they stretch. I've read where people have hps lighting as close as 8"...
Yeah i was just reading some of radogasts posts over on mr. Pinkmsns journal and he said a plant trolling in size is very rare, to just expect doubling. Obviously people on here say a lot and not everything can be taken as gospel but he seems to know what he's talking about.

That's a hell of a deal, i wonder how often they do that. And I've heard good things about the brand, seems to compare with mars hydro when it comes to customer reviews
so far it seems pretty good. It's only pulling about 150 watts (according to its description) the vipar pulls 135, and my king LED is only pulling 120?.. so far I like the vipar the best. but I do know the UV is working on the bestva,, cause I am getting blisters on my face from being under them too long. (I get that way if I am in direct sunlight in the summer as well) need lots of sunblock,, lmao

no, no pants for my girls, no pantsuits either... hope to not have to discipline her, cause she's the most symmetrical of the bunch, just cute as a button, but if she starts sneaking on pants, there gonna be trouble...

Wow BS~ everything looks happy! Just got caught up~ happy happy plants! Can't wait to jump on the flowering wagon!
Thanks Vesp, you can probably just walk on, no jumping needed, it is a SLOW moving train...lol

I'm drawing a blank but how much space do you have height wise?
4x4x6.5 I think, like 80 inches or so

they have not stretched very much. they have gotten a bit wider, but I think the LEDs help control the vertical stretch. I remember stretch being much more significant under the HPS, back in the day

Snarly and i have been discussing how to try and keep our plants from shooting up vertically, we both use LEDs (i use a mars hydro 96 reflector and i believe he has the mars hydro 144 reflector) he's had success keeping his plants down by keeping the light 12in from the canopy and letting them grow within 10in then raising back to 12in so on so forth.

Lights are off now, will take pics at lights on, but mine are not that close, and they still haven't stretched alot. I'll try and measure, so I am not talking from a suspect memory..

Hey Boom, man you sure get lucky with the freebies:thumb:
Just flipped on mine, so I'll be watching the stretch closely. Things are getting kind of tight now. I'm thinking I should of started with four instead of six. Time will tell.
:peacetwo:

now if I could get that lucky with the lotto.. lol

All of the soil pots were dry, fed them all with the transition formula, plus 1ml floralicios, 3ml calmag, .06 mammoth p. per gal.

split 2 gal between the 5, and topped off with 1 gal of plain water between the 5.

no signs yet, the buckets,, the roots,, man,, they are tomorrow.

A bit of stretch I guess,, they are growing fast.

water change... man, that alot of work, and only 4 buckets.. wow.

no signs yet, they are just chuggin along.

So, on another journal I am following a guy, (wicked knowledgeable) was talking about single vs double nodes and the plants maturity to flower, anyways, looks like quite a few of the main stems are not single,,, so maybe soon they hit puberty?

Awesome news about the light. So what's the plan with the new light? You gonna toss it in right away (your in flower right now right?) or you gonna hold off till your next grow?

dont know yet,,
might just throw it in the flower tent, it could use a bit more light, or may keep as a spare.
eventually, I want to get a 2x2 tent, and use this light in there for a breeding tent.... but that is a ways off..
