The BS Journal - Bag Seed - LED - Soil - Frankenpot - 1st Run In A Long Time

Jacob, ,,, me making things look easy with all of the shenanigans you got going on? Talk about a jungle,,
Thanks :) yeah they growing quick and sucking down the nutes, crazy roots, they need bigger buckets, or I will be having to change them daily pretty soon..lol

Shenanigans ? Me ?.....
It's a jungle n dere you got that right.. Wait two weeks.. I'll need to finish the other grow room very soon. I see em sucking the nutes down.... Can't you make some kind of reservoir that pumps fresh stuff to em.. Like on a float switch or something so there ain't so much filling to do manually and keep the smaller buckets. Or does it work the same way.. Bigger the container bigger the plant ?

I am sure I could make a res,, been debating that too, but I didn't want to then buy a pump as well. Never really ran a DWC, so it's an experiment. I bought these cool 3 gal containers with lids for about 5 bucks each at home depot, and have a new design in mind. I figure I can load up 2.5 gal or so in there and they should be happy for about a week, maybe with a straight water fill midweek...

Damn Boom sounds like you r one lucky person!! Hope you get a great deal on some glass to put ur new harvest in!! Post some pics if you not to busy slinging da food!!!!

Extravaganja is tomorrow...

I got a food truck I run on the weekends, and will be slinging food there tomorrow. Best part is I get in there as vendors are setting up, so get to see the cool stuff first!!!!! Hopefully get a good deal on some new glass...

Smh,

Great job by the by, bro...

I say hook up the res... go big. Yeah !
Do it.
Do you loads of good to have some good pot round alla time. Right...
That you grew..
Later Bud

I added .5 liter RO water to each bucket last night to top them all off, and this morning, the water line is 1.5 inches down or so. and they look good, they seem to like the 600. The soil pots are exploding right now as well, catching up to the buckets fast. Might just flip the switch on all of them this weekend, maybe take clones tomorrow, make the new buckets, and get everyone settled in the tent, then flip on monday the 1st..

not looking for large yield this grow, want to determine sex, then veg the clone girls out for the 8 weeks of flower.... so this run only needs to yield enough to get me to the second girls only clone run.

good morning. extravaganja was a blast, crowded as hell, and i got some RAW papers, and some of the cone shapes ones too.

OK, quick morning update,,

in a dilemma on how to transfer the bucket girls into a new home. I think I have come up with a solution.

dilemma: did you see the size of those root balls? no way in hell they are gonna squeeeeeze threw a tine ass 3in opening for those netpots.

solution: I have three un painted buckets, so I will have to use one painted one...
i will cut the bottoms off of them, with notches, then cut out a hole in the new lid to new container to accept the cut coffee bucket.
Slide them in and seat everything, then I can just pop the whole lid off and transfer them.

The soil pots are about 9 to 12 inches tall. The bucket brigade is pretty uniform at 10 inches tall
I got a new pair of glasses off amazon,

These are the rooms without the glasses..

Thanks SL, the glasses are pretty cool, does making looking at them nicer..

And now,,, Franken bucket 3.0.....
Got these for 5 bucks each at home depot..

Took a coffee bucket, and traced an outline....

bucket32.jpg

then, marked the sides where it met the new lid, to cut in slots for supports

duct taped it all together to prevent any light from getting down into the res. will drill 2 1/4 inch holes in each lid at opposite ends to add air stones. and realized I didn't need to cit a circle, it wont sit on the bottom, so i cut the bottom right off on two,,

and now I should be able to just move them into the buckets,,,, and not disturb the rootballs

man, what torture it was not to peek on them before lights on at 7... fed them all, the same formula as the buckets got, the transition formula GH brow-bloom-micro, .06 ml mammoth P, 1ml floraliscous, 1 ml elite root tonic and root igniter, but only 3ml calmag.
split 2 gals over the 5 of them, will water them with straight water in a few days to runoff.
