The Blue Experience - Kharma Reborn

Ok so after thinking long and hard, I decided to get some Cal/Mag to her. I used a paint brush (believe it or not) and brushed a solution of 20 ml per gallon on all of her leaves trying to keep it away from the flowers. About 15 min ago I checked in and the leaves were noticeably greener. We have 3 weeks to go. That's almost a month. I figure if I'm going to destroy what's left of the bacterial population in the soil, I may as well add some nutrients as well.

Watered in 1 gallon with 2 ml each of Cal/Mag and AN Micro, Grow, And Bloom. Hopefully that and the foliar treatment will be enough to get her over the hump. I will continue with 2 ml per gallon Cal/Mag until the murder.

week 7.1 flower

There was a power outage yesterday. I placed LED lanterns in the tent to preserve the light cycle. This offered me a rare chance to snap some photos showing Kharma in a different light.

I noticed that just one day after giving the plant synthetics her pistils started to shrivel up and were replaced by a heavy amount of new trichomes. The leaves are also showing more green. I think we're going to be okay.

Very good pictures @RETRIX ... i can clearly see now that our plants don't show the same signs for cal/mag. I don't have this yellowing on my leafs. My affected plants show even more symptoms than yesterday on new leafs that wasn't affected before. I'm shore it's not cal/mag I'm just going to give them water now for a while to see how things behave.

Your buds look amazing and that what counts! :thumb:

I have uploaded some more pictures on my affected ones if u wanna look. But it's clear its not cal/mag that's the issue here.

Yes I checked them out. That's why the flower period is so stressful for me. It is really hard to diagnose these plants sometimes.

week 7.2 flower
It's almost time

I checked the trichomes for the first time today and got quite the surprise.
It seems that I was a little off on my estimate of 9 weeks of flower.
On every bud that I checked, we are at 85 to 90% cloudy / 10 to 15% clear.

We will keep monitoring the situation,
but it looks like she may finish up at 8 weeks instead of 9.

hmmm. I guess the yellow leaves were natural fade after all.

Hey, it's not the end off the world. The weed is good anyway. I'm on my third spliff tonight and now my neck is starting to soften up.
:ganjamon:

It feels like the plants got real picky when coming under these led lights. Thinking of ordering all Canna Mono series for my hydro upgrade in the fall. Then I can really get in detail with the chem. I know you love your organic soil and I still think soil is the best substrate but when growing a lot in an apartment, soil gets very inconvenient to handel. Especially when having pains...

Your buds are fattening upp for each upload you make here. They look wonderful and tasty. :yummy:

Have you noticed any change in scent. I've almost gotten to the point that I can smell the buds ripening. Unfortunately, I don't have such a great nose for this stuff. I have to get very close or even rub a stem. Looking good though. :bongrip:

They smell a little sweeter now. Not quite as pungent unless I touch the plant or disturb it in some way.

I have decided to try a little experiment. I have read about all kinds of ways to increase trichome production from stabbing the plant to watering it with ice water.
I'm going to try a much simpler approach.
In the fall daylight hours are reduced more and more so
I'm going to change the schedule to 9 hours on and 15 off for next week.
My thinking is that she will sense the seasons changing
and pack on more THC as a last ditch effort.
If it works? More THC and less electricity.
If not?
Then I guess we won't do it again.

Wow just received my 20x loupe from Belomo. This loupe tells a much different story than the cheap ass 10 dollar one that I was using.

With this loupe, I'm showing 90% clear on all of the buds. LMAO. It looks like we will be going the full 9 weeks or maybe even 10.

This loupe is a quadruple lens and is very clear and accurate. Thank God I didn't rely on the other one with its distorted blurry image.
