The Blue Experience - Kharma Reborn

Still thinking about trying your garbage bag method on one of my problem child plants lol. I feel ya on running some seeds for months and finding out they aren't what they should be but tossing free seeds idk Sounds crazy to this fellow

You are right Kismet, and I used to never ever waste a seed no matter what but in my case, I only grow for myself and 2 ounces of bud will last me easily more than a year so these days I only have time for really quality specimens. lol

And as far as the trash bag, I have no idea why or how that brought this plant back from the dead yet here we are lol.

Looks great :thumb:.

On a plant that size with that much canopy, culling the larf is an excellent idea! Hope you saved it in the freezer for experiments later on :).

You can post pics of lights here as long as you don't feature the brand in the pic unless they're a sponsor.

I used to save Larf to make butter and stuff but now I just toss it. Maybe I will show a closeup of these LED's so people can see how they burn out if they aren't installed correctly when I change them out. So Shed tell me what you think about this Zensation thing, I want to grow them out but at the same time, I need to fill the coffers with quality smoke first. Can you suggest a few strains that are nice and potent, leaning more towards indica than sativa?

Sorry, I don't have enough variation in plants to answer that question for ya. Blueberry crosses seem to be really popular around here though!

What do you think about this puppy?
ChemDawg

Chemdawg is a popular and pungent strain that has quickly become a staple for many. Measuring in at a hefty 28.2% THC, it’s a hybrid of Sour Diesel and OG Kush and undeniably one of the strongest strains on the planet. Beware of the stinkiness of this strain– like most Diesels it’s easy to catch a whiff of from far away. This strain delivers a full body high so prepare to feel all the feels after smoking this.

I sent Ministry of Cannabis an email to try and find out more about this strain:

To Whom it may concern,

I am starting a grow with Zensation and I have a few questions if you don't mind.

Can you tell me how tall the plants get generally and about how many weeks of flower to expect?

Thank you.

Today I received a reply:

Hi,

Zensation will take aprox 60-62 days to complete flowering and a few days less if the temperatures are particularly high.

You can expect a height of approx 90-100 cm indoor and within 130-140 cm outdoors. Large branches like the indica dominant that she is.

Greetings from Barcelona,
Ministry Of Cannabis

100 cm = 3.28 ft
62 days flower + 21 days veg = 83 days from seed.

I don't know what to think about this.

More information on Zensation that I stumbled across:

Indica Dominant Hybrid - 75% Indica / 25% SativaTHC: 20% - 24%
Zensation is an indica dominant hybrid (75% indica/25% sativa) strain that is relatively new on the market courtesy of the Ministry of Cannabis farms. This dope bud has unknown genetics due to breeder secrecy and boasts a THC level ranging from 20-24% on average. Users describe the Zensation high as one that is long lasting and provides total relaxation of the mind and body. You'll feel sleepy and comfortable and completely at ease with a moderate case of the munchies. This high will eventually ease you into a deep and peaceful sleep that is uninterrupted and invigorating. Due to these potent effects, Zensation is said to be an ideal strain to treat patients suffering from conditions such as appetite loss, chronic stress or anxiety, and sleep disorders, including insomnia, sleep apnea, and night terrors. Zensation has a delicious taste of sweet earthy berry that intensifies as you smoke and an aroma of pungent earthy berry that is reminiscent of walking through a cherry grove. These buds have supersized frosty dark neon green buds that are completely covered with dark olive green curly leaves and long furry bright red and white hairs. These nugs are caked in thick chunky trichomes and a fine layer of sticky sweet resin.

Very potent but also a very rare and less desired flavor...unless u like to taste the smell of an incense store lol

My first time trying this strain, I usually go by what leafly recommends & they don't even have this strain in their database. My hubby & I went into ORigins in west seattle today, and they recommended this strain. I usually love GRANDADDY purple; and once I asked for that; she said " try this" & this so far is right up top with my favs such as GRANDADDY purple & tangerine dream. If you like this strain- try those two as well. Oh and I have only smoked all of these in cartridge form.

I picked this up in cartridge form, produced by Harmony Farms NW, one of my favorite cartridge manufacturers (along with Avitas). There is no doubt about the potency from this cartridge, or about the name of this strain. The high comes on fast and will knock you out. Use this after your day is done for a relaxing slide into a deep sleep. Great for insomnia.

week three flower
this might be cruise control

Last week one half cup of Flower Girl was added as a top dress. It was added early because I felt that she could take it. I watered it in with 1 tsp of honey. I also removed close to 1/4 pound of bottom larf, wrong way leaves, and underdeveloped suckers.

We also discovered that the right cob had burn't out almost half of its diodes causing the driver to step down. My tent has a noticeable drop in brightness. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the heat sink had lifted from the plate on the right side. I ordered some custom beefy 5x4 Heat sinks from Heatsink USA. each one will be top cooled by it's own 120 mm Noctua high back pressure fan.

So at this point, besides putting together the new light, there is nothing else for me to do with Kharma, but water her and wait. She is too big to take out of the tent now. It seems that the Flower Girl treatment with honey was right on time because her buds are stacking and filling out at an accelerated pace. She really is a beautiful thing. Definitely my most beautiful ever, hands down.

Have a look....

Looking good in here. Obviously the cobs still doing its job even if it's failing. and ChemDawg....I don't think you can go wrong there if you run HSO's version. or maybe I just got lucky. We'll find out next fall when I run her again. Really enjoying my Ultra Dawg today. It's amazing what a little cure does for the flowers. :bongrip:

Kharma is exceptional my friend, like WOW! Make sure you take pics for future contests cause she is a beauty. You really went for it! Kharma Reborn, sounds like a great strain idea. ;)

Awww you're too kind Lady. She is magnificent but I have seen way nicer looking plants than this one LOL. Hey please let me know when you are starting a new grow so I can follow it okay?

Thank you for the kind words Jim. Yes my left cob is undamaged but the right one suffered some diode burnout and unfortunately the driver steps down the voltage to match the damaged cob and applies it to both so yeah i'm having a micromole shortage. HSO Chem Dog you say? I am going to check it out asap Jim.
