Update: Day 5 of 12/12

Here is a shot taken when I returned home yesterday, 11/4, from my river trip. The plant had a couple of burned leaves but no major damage.
20181104_205810-jpg.1643508

Here they are this morning, 11/5, after removing them from the tent and doing some tie back. Got room now to grow, I think next week I will be attaching a net over them to hold the back from the light. I usually wait till flowers are showing more but damn the growth is overwhelming.

Got roots, most all pots look like this, a mix of fresh roots penetrating the pots and a few that are beginning to die of, and the process continues.

Here's the lineup, after tieback. Feeling there will be a major defo at day 21, so thick.

Update day 5 of 12/12

One last picture from this morning, just a mass of leaves and the plant is just beginning to stretch.

Got this yesterday from my Bud in NM, he sent this with a bud of his latest outdoor grow. 70% Indica dominate hybrid.

Cute, back in the day, say 45 plus years ago he was my VW mechanic, two bugs, two buses and a Type 3.
Has since become a very successful geologist, oil and environmental property mitigation, but he does remember the day, :)

Slight update on my setup. Gone are my Viparspectra growlights and say hello to my HLG 600H Quantum Board. Oh and my Dehumidifier is now outside the tent because it was making thing way too hot in their. Still working nicely for my tent and a constant 40% RH.

How long in veg, I would wait if it was me.
Is that the only plant in your 4x4 under a 600.
You can give it weeks before you flip, you have it low, let it grow two to three times that size.
That is me, it may be up to your GF, LOL

GR

Its not the only one, six in the tent now. The MH is @ 450w + 128w from the shop lights. I find the shop lights make them really easy to train. The only thing I did to the plant in my previous post was to top it. I did not super crop it, use a net or tie it down in any way. I would like to hold them in veg for at least another 7 days to let the little one catch up. Bigger ones are ready to go now. I did super crop the other plants in this pic, all of them except the little one.

I took a hard loss in my 4x4 early this fall. I was up against a heatwave, my tent upstairs in a small room no a/c. In spite of this things seemed to be going well & the plants looked good. Then one night before going to bed I went to check on them. The instant I touched the door handle to the grow room I knew something was wrong, it felt warm. When I opened the door, it was so hot I was sure I had an electrical fire on my hands but after checking I was glad to be wrong. I unzipped my tent to discover the exhaust fan ducting came loose & fell off. The digital thermometer was showing 100 F. I think that's as high as it can go. Surprisingly the plants didn't look to be in bad shape, I had just flooded the pots about 7 hours beforehand and now they were almost dry. I'm pretty sure the fan mounted on my light fixture was the only thing that saved them from burning up under the light. At first I thought I was going to get away with it, but no such luck. This took place just a few days after I flipped them & within a week every one of them grew watermelons. This was my 6th grow & sadly my 1st "incomplete". Definitely a heart breaker. The 2nd pic was one of the last I took before it happened.

Gave them another round of super cropping. I'm sure they are a little pissed off at me now, I was not easy on them. It should pay off later, leveled out the canopy pretty good. One is a Jack Herer, as for the other ones your guess is as good as mine. Seeds were from Crop King feminized random pack. 10 seeds all different & they don't tell you what kind they are.

Here is what is going on in the 4x4.

Day 14 of 12/12

Not much to show, just trying to keep them out of the lights. So I ended up putting up the nets to hold them back. Normally don't do that till late in flower, and when I defo next week I will probably remove the net and do some retie back to the screen.
Tie back 11/7

Tonight I raised the upper lamp, will be last move till harvest.

Well, couldn't wait any longer, they were all growing into the lamps.
So pull them from the tent, removed the netting and did the major 21 day prune two days early.

Here they were on day 12 of 12/12, they were tied back with netting on 11/7 and retied on 11/12.

Ahhh, have room around the lamps again, well for another few days at least. Will probably need to work on then next weekend.
20181119_153658-jpg.1653713

Damn it took me 8 hrs to do today's work on the ladies, only a couple of breaks. But it is fun having them all untied, hanging free and then figuring the best way to tie them back trying to get as many buds sites exposed as possible.

Looks about what my G13 Haze looked like at this stage, except for the height, two extra weeks of veg before going into flower is a killer. Hopefully the return will justify the extra time.

GR

Side note!
New irrigation system is working great, dialing in times. Love being able to do cycles in seconds.
