The 4x4 Grow Tent Club

Both of your girls are looking great. It still won't let me post my pics. I harvested most of mine last night. One thing I've learned is to harvest the top half of my plants a day or so early then let the bottom half go a extra week to plump up them buds a little bit more. Plus the lower half become my night time smoke to help me sleep. Back to being able to post pics tho. Have any of you had the problem of posting pictures? It will upload them then says it failed and I may not have permission to do it?

I'm not sure why you can't post pics. Maybe they are too large or you are uploading too many at one time.

I just want to clear this up. This last pic is not in flower. She will be my next grow when these ladies leave the tent.
She is a clone taken from a plant 33 days into flower and she has started to Monster Crop.
She is going to be a monster, LOL
 
Two weeks into flower and I'm really starting to like these LED's.

Nice little tops. Hope they get a lot bigger though.

Basically this is my flowering tent, I didn’t want such a tall tent so I found this shorty on amazon. I didn’t mix perlite or hydroton so I wouldn’t have to water so often, Temp is about 78-80 with my light set up. Using 4100k bulb, then switching to 3100k for bloom, second week from seed germination, cult classic seed “elefante “ I bought it at the local dispensary , happy growing

Only suggestion I would make, due to the fact that I have two of the same Nanolux lamps would be to separate the ballast from the lamp holder and make it remote out of the tent. Cuts down on the heat considerably.

I can't remember this plug setup but but you will need the matching cord like this one.

Hi all. I hope you dont mind if i join in and pick your brains for wisdom.
I will be reading through this thread with a nice joint shortly but for now my question thats been bothering me the most is.
How dang far should my SE 1000w eye hortilux be from my plants.
Im on run 3 in my 4x4 and im just not sure im dialing my light height right.
Currently i bounce it between 16 and 24"
Is there a set height you guys go for or you just put it where its comfortable for the plant.
I feel my harvests could be better so im trying to figure out what im doing wrong. Thanks.

I do not run HPS and I know my CMH's run cooler but I run my 18 to 22" in flower. I let them grow into the lamp, 14" before I move the lamps up and got some burning on the tips. Don't think it is major but stupid error on my part and know it will cost me in the end.
I ran a 400 HPS yrs ago and even then I kept them 16" min from the tops of the plants.

Day 28 of flower. I was hoping they would be a little bigger, but they are super frosty at this point. I still have 5 to 8 weeks to go, so hopefully they will continue to grow a lot more.

Day 40 - 42 of 12/12

The heat problem experienced is really showing now. Lesson learned, always check light height after stretch is completed. I did not check it until I began seeing the problem and the damage was done. During stretch this lights where maintained at 20 inches, when I caught the problem at around day 26 or so, they were at 14 inches. Did not figure the plants would continue to stretch after week 3 but went out of town for a few days after stretch (week three) and when I returned we saw the problem, raised the lights and waited to see the results.
That was about 15 days ago and here we are today..

Hey everyone it's been a while. My app won't load anymore and didn't even think to log on the website.. lol. Hopefully everyone has been having problem free days since I last logged on. Idk how to post pictures on my phone browser but my last grow ended decent considering all the moving issues I delt with in the dead of Michigan winter. Ended with a couple extremely nice buds about 2 foot long. Back set up tho in veg with my 1st 4. 4 new 1000 watt (280ish from the wall) full spectrum led panels and giving some smart pots a try these next few grows. Have 3 5 and 10 gallon pots. Once I figure out the website and how to post pics I'll post some.
