The 4x4 Grow Tent Club

Sup you all! I'm having trouble deciding when to start the transition to flower.
Very good looking plants, Hedon. You're doing something right. The decision to flip is largely going be dependent on how much stretch you expect and how much headroom you have. It looks like you have the room to do a bit of bending or supercropping if the leaders start getting too tall. If it was my grow I'd probably start the transition to flower nutrients and flip within a week or so. YMMV.

Cheers mate. It's doubtful they'd stretch more than 100%. I've just got the height. Thought I'd ask. I'm a little worried my lack of early organisation will lead to a poor management and a over crowded area.

Gimik! Hard dense nugs are exactly what you want! They're beautiful! And given that yours is an inside grow, and given the density of your buds I wouldn't suggest bud washing. You're not going to have dirt and dust and bugs in the buds, and the risk of mold is higher with wet dense buds. Do the research and see what you think. Nice grow!

Yeah after reading about Bud Washing I don't want to chance ruining all my hard work by getting mold although i do see the benefit of bud washing in other circumstances.

Thanks for the positive feedback btw! I'm quite surprised how well my first grow went!!

Hmm, anyone got any input on this, trying to see what this deficiency might be, thought it was calcium deficiency. Looked up pictures and seems to be consistent but wanted to get some input on it. The soil in the solo cups is light warrior from fox farms with nothing added but a few clay pellets. I just flushed all plants that were showing same thing I flushed with ph 6.5 distilled water at half strength of FF big bloom (3 tsp), general hydroponics call mag + ( 1/2 tsp) and general organics bio root (1/2 tsp). And put about 600 ml of this stuff through the soil and seeing if it'll help stop whatever is happening and I can dial back in. But I'd like some input. 7 of these are going to the 4x4 tent in like 4 weeks, the rest will stay in this tent for a mini SOG kinda thing lol

Anyways, it's like spots starting at the bottom leaves and one showing going from the tip of the leaf to the rest of the leaf. The lower leaves that showed first signs are only on some of the plants seems like rust but like a lighter rust color...i dont know, Appears to be a mobile nutrient causing this since it seems to be climbing. First time using light warrior and was going to transplant to a 1 gallon with fox farm ocean forest but wanted them to be on their 5th node before I did that.

It does look like calcium deficiency to me. I've had it a couple times. I also had a low PH problem that looked that way. In my short experience the damage to the leaves is done though. You have to look at new growth to see if it's fixed.
Yeah, figured as much that it was calcium. I think this light warrior is more acidic than I thought too. All waterings Are 6.5-6.7 PH so found it weird that run off was at 5.8 but soil ph meter says 6.7 lol maybe I need to shell out for something over 20 bucks on Amazon for a more accurate reading haha but using cal mag + the previous watering at normal 1 tsp per gallon and in the flush I had it at half strength and flushed with 600 ml which is close to 2x the cups volume. I'll keep an eye out on new growth and monitor over the next week. Thanks for the input!

You have good growth what is your light cycle and how long have your seedlings been in soil. Look at mine week 2 in soil

5 of the seedlings sprouted like two weeks ago, the other 6 (two of which have the spots) are on week 3. Light cycle is 18/6 . I put all seeds/rapid rooters in soil 2 or so days after they pop out of the rapid rooters or when the taproot is coming out of the rapid rooters or jiffy pellets. For the ones on week 3 I flushed about 10 hours ago with a mix of half strength mix that had 3 tsp fox farm big bloom, 1/2 tsp cal mag +, And 1/2 tsp. Next time I feed it'll be with same mix and I'll bring it to normal levels as all should be on their 3rd or so node. Right now half of the 6 are on 3rd node with the others not far behind. They'll grow out of it, just the first time using light warrior for a seedling soil so the acidity of it probably threw me off and caused a calcium deficiency. I'm sure the flush will fix it. Next soil they'll be in will be fox farm ocean forest in 1 gallon square pots. Once my other plants are done flowering I'll pop all 6 into the big 4x4 tent for a a bit for veg since I'll be topping them once or twice.

Here is what is going on the the 4x4 today!

So as stated, pulled the plants from the tent and retied all back to the screens.
Only showing one plant but did the same to each of the 5 plants.

This is how the plants were growing into the lamps prior to tie back. The plants or around 11" from the lamp now.

I am liking what I am seeing, not yet the second week of 12/12 getting decent stretch, and good fill in.

Really like this picture. This is the back side of #1 LSD from Barneys Farm.

gr865, that is the coolest grow I've ever seen! Seriously fricking genius!

:adore:

Thanks R509, I learned this from some good growers.
These are Indica dom so i am not sure what I will pull of this but my last grow was with 5 Sativa's, only four produced, the last one went straight into making oil. I pulled 24.5 zips of trimmed, in the jar and cured smokable buds. Also had 10 zips of larf that also went into making CO.

Day 19 12/12

Today did a fairly heavy defo, and will complete it on Wed.
Everything is tied in place, and should fill in nicely.

Wed or Thur I will do a full blown defo, did a good job today but will take a bit more. I expect with the growth they have shown they will be filled in quite soon.

My current setup and my harvest's from my last 2 plants.
It's better than my first grow.

What was the strain and weight of the two plants last grow?
