the CS method looks too easy to be true, but i seems to work. we can see if 420fied is successful at least. i think sonzor was.

well if it does then after i think i'll have to give it a try, but you guys are going to have to guide me on that one.
i would like to try it too, but i have a lifetime worth of STS as it is.
I have enough concentrate to make 10 liters at full strength, and 1 liter will prob morph 100 females.
plus after the first use, i think i have the strength dialed in. it is so easy to make i don't know why there isn't any cheap commercial sex-change spray product available commercially.
i know some guys used to sell it on an alt.420something.or.other board. thats where i got the recipe. everything altogether cost me 12 bucks including shipping. plus a spray bottle.

Colloidal Silver isn't dissolved into solution, but rather is more of a suspension. I cannot argue if anyone has had success with it, but STS will be rapidly taken up by the plant and the silver ions will compete with the ethylene in the plant and that is what gives the desired effect. If I was going to make hundreds of seeds for a massive outdoor grow, I would want something that has scientific backing. STS does and CS does not for what I can gather. I will watch regardless of what 420fied decides. 
How did you obtain the silver nitrate to make the STS? STS by itself would be too unstable to store, so do you make it with Silver Nitrate and Sodium Thiosulfate?
i ordered both the silver nitrate and sodium thiosulfate anhyd. on ebay for 12 bucks including shipping. I mixed them to make 1 liter that should be 10x strength, but i think 8x would be best. 8x is what i have prepared now. i have them in the freezer until i want to use them to keep everything suspended.
Why didn't I think to look there? Smaller quantities are available too. I may have to pick some up there. Thanks.
both are common photography developing solution chemicals. I checked with my local photo shops, but since everything is going digital, they carry less chemicals. ebay was the cheapest place, but if you google it and just go to shopping, you will find it there too.

So tell me wheel.... STS or CS?
STS is easy as pie, and i know it works. One mix will last a long long long time. It has the virtue of being time tested. If my life depended on getting seeds, i would prob do STS because i have experience doing it.
CS looks so simple, if it works, that would be the best method, because it is so so easy, and simple. KISS right? and you could make it on the spot as needed, so you don't have to store anything.
I want you to do CS, so i can have a nice how to. lol. but i don't want to give it my full endorsement because i haven't ever done it or seen the results first hand.

If you were only doing a small test grow to test the efficacy of using CS for making femmed seeds, then by all means do it. But for a large, labor intensive grow like you are planning, I would go with what is scientifically proven and not disputed, STS. Heck, you could try and do both but I wouldn't try doing both methods at the same time.

This sounds like an epic grow. Do you use a GPS to locate all the plants? My luck I would get baked and forget where they were. Best of luck.
