The 420fied Plan

um, sure. hmm.

I watched he videos. good for him. i also watched 420's last journal. I'm pretty sure i understand what he wants to do.

nobody is entertaining anything silly, 420 is debating trying auto's to flower early and get them out of the ground before the mold and the choppers are in full force. butch said he could do the same from clone, i don't really believe it. i will continue that discussion via pm.

i bet mr. rogers could out grow any of us. that dude was the most chilled out guy in history. i would be honored to grow with mr. rogers MF.

Thanks for the input but the plan is already in place:

I've decided on the femmed auto AK-47's which will I'll have next week. I'm going to breed them in this journal and use Colloidal Silver to produce a ton of fem'd seeds. I'm going to cut and root 200 clones indoors and grow them to 6-10 inches then transplant them outside. I'm going to dig 200 holes and place these babies out during May. This will enable me to harvest in July.

I will fill the holes with a second run and harvest again in early Sept.

Trust me, all of this will be documented with great detail for your viewing pleasure.

I don't think you're going to want to clone an auto flower. trust me it wont work very well. did you mean you will crack 200 seeds and grow them to 6-10 inches? thats probably when they will throw themselves into flower anyways.

if they are 3-4 weeks old to get to 10 inches, and you plant may first, you will prob be done before july 1st. the entire cycle of an auto is about 9 weeks.

I'm excited to see you give a go at the colloidal. :yummy:

With a regular strain it could fetch 150-200k but as your harvest window moves into sept/oct you risk a much greater chance of encountering copters, mold, hunters, rippers on the lookout, etc......

The investor thing blows my cover so that's out. Money isn't the issue....it's me being a tightwad.

All things considered, I'd rather run the autos.

How could I not be in on this journal? Have you thought about going to the source for your femmed seeds and taking them back yourself? A nice trip to Europe and I bet you could get a bulk discount that would pay for your trip. Best of luck on whatever you decide 420fied.
 
I'm kind of surprised the Colloidal Silver works. Is is just small pieces of silver suspended in the water. Now silver ions can do things. From wiki on CS...

Use in horticulture

"Silver in ionic solutions like silver thiosulfate and silver nitrate (not suspended elemental silver) has been shown to be an ethylene inhibitor[24] by competing with ethylene for binding sites by the plant receptors[25]. Because of this property, solutions containing silver ions are sometimes used by florists to keep flowers fresh longer [26]. Since ethylene is also involved in the "sexing" of plants, this property of blocking ethylene synthesis is also used for forcing male flowers on female plants.[27] As a result, the use of ionic silver solutions has become popular in cannabis cultivation."

So, I wonder if there isn't some ionic silver being created along with the CS in the electrolysis.

OK guys....

I don't have too much to show yet. I have modified my veg/clone area and added a t5 unit to the bottom for mothers, etc.

The middle rack has a t8 unit and I'll only use that for rooting clones/germing if I ever need to.

I haven't decided what to do with the top yet... probably just supplies.

When the feminized Auto AK-47 seeds get here(any day), I'll make some colloidal Silver and start the breeding part of my plan.

Hey Munki, as was mentioned earlier, You don't need silver nitrate because you can make your own colloidial silver. Any silver coins will do as long as they are pure silver.You can make a 'generator' to essentially dissolve a portion of the silver into solution with water. The generator simply passes a current between the two coins (cathode and anode, i think) suspended in the water. It's sort of like electroplating in reverse. You can also use silver wire, a broken necklace, silver ingots, etc. no silver nitrate needed.
