if i were you when you harvest, i wouldnt even trim those leaves closest to the top, those bastards are pretty :D i would smoke them anyday hahaha

So I have about under two weeks before I chop #1 and I thought I would get some macro shots to show everyone the extent of how frosty they are now. #1 is about 60% cloudy and 2-5% Amber. The rest are clear and turning cloudy. She has almost lost all of her main fan leaves and looking better and better.

Some of the longer ones will be cut off. I am not much of a leaf smoker so I will trim pretty tight. Besides, with my trim I get I plan on making some full melt bubble hash. Gonna get some bags and everything.

Soon bro. I have one more feed before I flush. I will give my plants a day to soak up then a flush with a molasses chaser and then I will let the my pot dry out for a week before I chop. I am very excited.

Don't forget to stick around a little longer. To finish this journal up, means that the clones will also get chopped sometime in December/January.

I have never made bubble hash. I'd be interested on how its done. If you know a good link please pass it on.

You can also use Bubble bags which furthers the filtration. That's the way I think I am going to make it. GodSpeed provided plenty info but this is the video I watched.

I ended up getting srung bags the chap is a diamond gezza and sorted me out they were imported from US and were alot cheaper then bubble bags. Iv had them 2 years and used them about 20 times they look brand new!! If i was to switch anything i would go for the bigger bags saves ALOT of time.

Mini Update: So I am kinda pissed today. I was woken up by a buzzing ballast. Turns out, my HPS bulb has always had a striking issue but today it shouldn't have. It came on for the first time for my light cycle to start and BAM! no strike. I unplugged it and reset all my wires and nothing. I swapped out for my MH bulb and It struck first try. Seriously the first time i started using my HPS was on Oct4. there should be no reason for it to be dead already.

Anyways, I contacted support from the shop I bought it from. Hopefully they replace it because if not, well they lost a customer. I would understand if I was making this claim for a year old bulb but c'mon, 1 1/2 months?

I had a question though. Will MH be ok for the time being until I can buy a new bulb or get a replacement?

Hopefully that doesn't cause any issues(yield wise) The color is a nice change of pace though lol.

Well enough of this rant. Just gotta remind myself that I have a harvest coming soon. Anyways, that's all for now.

FYI...I have some bubble bags and have done the cold water extraction method. It works well, but it's a real PITA to make and clean up. The next round I do will be using dry ice extraction, which is about the "coolest", quickest, and easiest way I've seen to extract the trichomes:

Oh my! Such a response on "How to make Bubble Hash?".. Sorry to drift you thread TOG..:adore: .. but I appreciate what a learning thread this grow has turned out to be for me!
 
MH will probably slow your flowering, i dont know about yeild.
but it wont hurt your plant. just confuse it alittle bit till you get it back to the right spectrum
