dude, i just read your whole journal, and all i gotta say is, WOW. you're doing an amazing job, i'm a few weeks behind you in my first grow, i also have a journal going, check it out, i'd love any tips you have for me, i'd like to have half as much luck with mine as you are having on yours.

sucks bout the males TOG, least u got 2 nice ladies from the bunch, just glad i bought fem seeds so i dont have the hassle of waitin to find out. only got 4 plants to worry bout now also. think the one that got flattened is givin up on me

damn tog sorry to hear about the males, atleast all of them weren't males, plus i have a feeling that your gonna have your hands full with just them too, especially the way their lookin!!! other then that your doin a damn good job, just keep doin what your doin, and before you know it them clones will be the size of the other ones!!! :thumb: :tokin:

I have been kinda busy the last few days So I have been pretty limited to what i could do but I have a little update for ya'll.

Flower Update: last night I had sucha major headache so it wasn't until noon did i check but both are shooting pistils everywhere already. I will take some pics tomorrow after my feeding. I am also happy to say that all the brown spots have pretty much stopped. It was a bug problem. I will work on some odor control within this week. I have way to filter with a carbon filter and some inline fans. Once I make some cash I will be upgrading my main light setup. Getting a vented hood and a 600w setup with a digital ballast so I can cut Temps in half. Lots of stuff in the future.

Clone Update: It has been three days since I trimmed down my plants and cloned my trimmings. No yellowing or browning whatsoever. The male clones i trashed had very tiny root hairs so hopefully that is a good sign for the ones i still have. If they are root I will have 10 Lemon Skunk clones that i will move to 1Gal pots and start topping and training my plants. I want to keep them low. Whichever one comes out the best I will transplant to a 3Gal pot(Resting place) and I will keep as a mother(For my future SOG setup)

Seedling Update: I think i remember saying I managed to get three out of the five seedlings. They are stretching and working on their for set of leaves. Two of the five just didn't make it. They are one week into their lives. Germed on Oct. 3rd

Tomorrow will be a feeding day for my girls. I will be doing a half strength solution so we will see how tat goes. I will also snap some pics of everything and show you guys.

Remember though, with femmed seeds they run the risk of carrying the hermie trait. So watch your plants, especially in flower.:thumb:
 
i know bud, first grow is a big learnin curve, i just hope i can make it from start to finish. not really expectin loads of big ass buds, we can all dream tho eh? lol if i finish with some decent lookin plants ill be happy :peace:
 
Before I started I completely overestimated everything. I dreamt big. I still dream big but in a more knowledgeable and realistic manner. In such a short amount of time I have taken in so much information and I am still learning. I am fortunate to have had all the help and luck during this grow.
 
i thot it was a case of buy seeds soil n add water, cant believe i was so wrong, cost me like 400 quid so far nd im no where near finished buying, its so addictive, if the plants repay me with some big buds then so be it but im never gonna under estimate this plant again :thumb: so for rambling on lol

At least 2 are still looking good, as for the space, don't worry you will need it, in flower you will be getting 2x or even 3x of the grow :) I didn't expect that in with my plant and now I see that I could use more space :hmmmm:

Next time try going with fem seeds, there is always less disappointment and wasting time and resources.
At least they gave you something in return, learning experience.:rollit:

Thanks buddy! Yeah I'm really excited to see how things go.

Quick Update: So I was looking at my clones to see how they are coming along and I noticed that two clones I took from #1 have pistils coming out of them now! Im really hoping I see some roots on those two cause as soon as I do, I will put them in 1Gal pots and flower them with my girls :lot-o-toke:

#2 clones are looking really good. they are already starting to grow new nodes which only means they are soaking up the water fromt he rockwool! tomorrow will be the last day of the dome part and from them i will let them have the open air.

Haha Thanks man!:thumb: I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to things i have great passion for. A few months ago I started doing research on how to grow. I stumbled upon :420: and I thought I would lurk and read journals. that was in June. Youtube and this site have been a great help. I was at that point where I could only learn from hands on practice. So August rolled around and thought it would be a good time to start.

Anyways, I will be doing a pic update later on today with everything I got going on. I will be back later to go through all my subsrcibed threads and show that i am still alive.:lot-o-toke:

I too, have always been interesting in growing my own herb. I've spent so much money on bud since I started smoking socially at 13, went roughly 2 years without smoking, then discovered that cannabis is my best medicine, and continued to smoke for medical reasons from then on out. I wish the laws about it were different in my home state, cause then i probably would have started a long time ago, but as for now, i had the space and i'm VERY glad i begun this journey. I owe damn near all of my success to 420mag &/or google searches, and a couple close friends. Thank God for all the help i've gotten!
 
Pic Update 10/11/2011: A lot has changed since I last had a pic update. As you all know, I had to chop two plants and the remaining two are flowering nicely.

I also took a total of twenty-four clones and after was left with ten from trashing the two males. I am on the fourth day of rooting and it will be my last day to have the humidty dome on them. Two of the clones from #1 are already throwing pistils. Im hoping it roots soon so I can pot it and move it into my 12/12 light.

Onto the pics:

#1 I trimmed back some of the fan leaves to get some more light hitting the inner bud. You can see the Large tops and the smaller inner tops showing through the canopy:

#2 This one was the one I didn't top. so this will have one single large top cola and little buds all around. I trimmed the inside to get better light and you can see that it is spiraled from the top view:

If anyone was wondering I have a large closet i grow out of with different areas. The top is my seedling/clone/Veg room running with a 2'x4 T5 light. Bottom is my 400W hps for flower. There is a divider in my bottom part of the closet which i will remove by my next grow to make from for a Sog setup. I will touch on that subject later. Here's what my area looks like:
