A small update,

My new flowering room is almost done! I biult 7x7x8 room. Heres some pics I could really get an angle.

The babies are starting to grow and smelling up the room already! My bigger plant is growing very slowly maybe about 1" aday but only o

n some of the limbs that were the shortest. The cool thing is they are catching up with the main top.

Thanks for the compliments, I gotta long ways to go to get good though! Although, I am planning on getting there fast. Cant wait to get the DWC Scrog going, Glad you checked out my grow, and hopefully we will get some nice buds going.

Heres some pics. The BK is on her 23rd day of flower, I LST's the CKM, Sour D, and Diesel the other day, the smaller plants are starting to take off, Not sure if I sould Fim/Top or just let them grow, I am planning on taking clones and going hydro, and after watching TeSmp's scrog go crazy I really want to scrog the Sour D.

here's the babies lst'd they are starting to grow fast, I had to move big one out of the tent, the 600 watt HPS had the room up to 86 degrees. The temp has been at its highest 81 since I switched rooms. Gotta find away to get the temps down without running the central ac set at 75.

Are little white spots on the front of the leaves possibly a symptom of spider mites? I thought I read this somewhere. Today I bought 20 gallons of RO water, and flushed the crap out of the SD, while doing this I noticed some tiny whitish yellow little blisters on the front of some of the leaves. I am trying to find a scope today so that I can confirm whether I do or do not have bugs. I'm trying to figure this out. I was thinking that I was having problems from using tap water. Hope I can figure it out before things get to bad.

I waited a bit long, she was like 2.5 weeks and was fairly tall by then and then i pulled her across.. I prob should have done bit earlier but i burnt her a bit with Pyrethrum
Ive seen ppl start basically at their first set of 3 fingered leaves..

Hey mate,
I doubt you have bugs.. Do you foliar feed water or nutes with lights on?? Sometimes that causes circular light spots on leaves??
Hope it all sorts out, ill still try suss it out for you mate!

My Sour D. Bounced back and grew alot over night! Ive been giving all my plants tap water since I started, probably why the BK is so small. My tap water comes out of the tap at 350 ppm. I thought they were fine so I never bothered, I flushed the SD with about 15 gallons of ph'd RO water and watered the BK and I am seeing noticable growth in 24 hours. here are a couple of pics. Sorry the pics were taken with a phone, and I was in a hurry, but here we go.

I use tap water also, i only let it sit 24hrs to evap. any chlorine, and its usually about 6.5-6.8PH, dunno about PPM? As ive never measured it, and what is the measurement for - Parts Per Million of what?? Calcium, alkalinity??? SOZ IM A STOOPID LIL PERSON Lol..
As it hasnt thus far caused any probs, i dont think?, i havent monitored it as im not sure if its necessary for me to worry about?
If you have any info on this that would be appreciated - just for knowledge sake if anything!

TDS (or Total Dissolved Solids) is measured in units of PPM (or Parts Per Million). EC (or Electrical Conductivity) is measured in either µS (MicroSiemens) or mS (MilliSiemens). In the USA we use PPM and internationally µS and mS are the preferred measurements. Both TDS and EC meters measure nutrient strength in the same way with the same accuracy; however the readouts are displayed differently. For example: a nutrient solution that measures 1000ppm, on a TDS meter, will be the same strength as a solution that reads 1430 µS or 1.43 mS on an EC meter. TDS and EC meters measure the strength of a nutrient solution by measuring the flow of electrical current between two metallic probes. The higher the salt concentration in the nutrient solution the better it conducts electricity; therefore the higher the reading on the meter. By measuring the solution with a TDS meter, we can tell dissolved solids (nutes) we are feeding our plants.so yes like calcium. Alkalinity is what we read with our ph tester. So I truthfully beleive that my plants were stunted and and burned from chlorine and adding nutes to water that already had a high ppm. Im trying to learn from my mistakes. I will never use tap water again, especially now that the Sour D is exploding in growth since I changed this 32 hours ago.

I usually mix half of my sat tap water with some distilled, and PH is usually about 6.6.. After nutes usually drops couple tenths..

Bro, your on track, and I wish my plants looked like yours! I have 7 gallon containers I bought Sunday and at Walmart they have water dispensers. They charge $2 for 5 gallons. You can install a RO system on your sink at home for a couple of hundred bucks, the problem is for every gallon of filtered water the system makes, it will waste like 4 gallons of water. We have a bad drought across our country. I don't want to waste water.

hi mate, nice growing. i havent read it all, just quick flick through. Just a couple of points on what i have noticed. U would prob benefit more but lst-ing and training a little sooner wen the plants are much more pliable. Be careful with the RO water, it is a good tool to have but it can create problems with cal/mg deficiencys. Looking at the pics u have posted i dont think u have spider mite, spider mite leave a more fine white dots and u can see them under the leaves. Most likely nute burn or a lock out which can be quite common in soil as the soil holds on to excess nutes more than other medium. I wouldnt flush with ro water unless u have real probs as flushing can cause its own set of problems. I usually flush with tap water. The very best way to clear chlorine out of tap water is to by a small air pump and bubble it out with an air stone. Water that is left standing can go stale, grow algae and evaporate dissolved oxygen. Ur plants will love the super oxygenated water if u use an airstone and chlorine will be dissolved fairly quickly. Sorry if ive missed anything, like i said i only very quickly skipped through. Nice first attempt so far.


Oh few strains which work well in sog/scrog grows that i have experience growing: Greenhouse seeds - big bang, A.M.S, Train Wreck. Flying Dutchman - Pure. Sensai Armageddon. I wish i'd scrog'd one of the current grows i have going, the one in my journal actually. I usually grow big plants with plenty space but my wilma system forced me to sog grow, which i like yield wise. However the stems are really skinny this time and the net would have helped loads, i'll just have to string them up instead. In ur DWC (wen u get around to it) u shouldnt need to train and lst quite as much cos DWC grows wild. I love DWC. But the way i grow at the min means i trial lots diff tchniques at a couple locations and the actual proper grow locations tend to be coco coir grows, simply because they are easier for less advanced growers to manage wen i cant be there and still give great results. So i only have 3 or 4 in DWC right now. I'll post some pics on my journal in a day or two and show u one.
