Testing The ViparSpectra XS1000 With VetSmoke85

I always uppot photos. Only once or twice though. Far too lazy to do more.

With autos though some people have had issues with stunting from transplanting. I never did. Last couple of runs I've tried starting autos in final containers and they haven't grown as well as my previous attempts. Other factors will have come into play too but I'm sure that's part of it. I'm just crap at getting them going in bigger pots. Lol. Much more comfortable transplanting.
I like uppotting. It’s how I’ve always grown my plants from cuttings. I just copied nursery garden practices tbh.

I have an auto being shipped.

I have zero idea how I’m meant to even grow an auto lolllll.

Neither does an auto. Just do what you normally do and it will do whatever the hell it likes. Lol. Don't worry about light schedules though. 18/6 or whatever it can get.

I took some more pics after feeding but they JJ just looked the same as this morning but with the lights on. Lol. Here's the hempy Pineapple Express on Day 5 though. Looks happy enough.

I’ll need a bit of a masterclass first I think.

I am not sure why I even picked it. Lollll

When I moved to hydro indoors the first thing I grew was autos. A couple of things to keep in mind .... don't mix strains in the same chamber unless they have the same lifespan. I grew a Jack Herer Auto (10 weeks from seed to harvest) and a Super Silver Haze (14 weeks). It got a little dicey near the JH harvest, especially if you flush. The second thing is to pay attention to the first signs of flowering so you can adjust the nutes.
Otherwise they just do what they are programmed to do.

What does that mean the same chamber?

In the same tent or cabinet. Basically the same light source or reservoir.
Oh this could be difficult then.

I am trying to grow 2 veg 2 flower spin and repeat perpetually

Did you get the auto as part of that plan or just to try one? You could leave it in the veg tent the whole time or outside. It won't care.

the Pineapple Gum and White Widows are yellowing badly.
I don't use Prescription Blend nutes, but I have some...that being said, if I did use them, I'd be adding more core B than the chart says- It appears that those plants need a little more N, and most of the N in PB nutes is in the core B.
But, my answer to almost everything seems to be "it needs more nitrogen" :)
so you might want to wait on PB's response...
Have a great weekend, Vet!

Thanks mate. Probably just give that a go on one of them and see what happens. I'll have to dig out another nute mixing jug. Into the garage of doom I venture.

I'll put another call out to @Prescription Blend here. Any ideas? They're on week 4 flower schedule. The Tangerine Dream is doing okay now but the Pineapple Gum and White Widows are yellowing badly.
Hey Vet, @InTheShed made a good post on this point, which I feel correlates well with what I have observed and as a consequence I make sure my plants are getting enough N when flowering. Shed's post on N needs in flowering is here.

Cheers. I'll have to have a play with the mix. Both times I've used these nutrients now I've had plants show signs of nitrogen toxicity early on and now we have a deficiency. Week 4 flowering on the chart below.

Sorry for the absence but I have gotten caught up with the recent posts here. Issues with autos are harder to asses because there can be a lot of various sensitivities in autos.

If your using flower week 4 at full strength then its not very likely to have an auto that needs more food then that. If you don't want to increase the total nutrient strength then I would agree with @Carcass that you could try using more Core B compared to Core A to get more N.

No worries. Thanks, I'll give it a go.

I always start my grows with a seedling tray. I uppot 5 times I think lol

Hi Professor :)

I feel like I haven’t seen you posting in ages! Hope you’re living your dream.

Final pot would be HEAPS easier. My seeds go from a bassinet, to a cot, to a single bed, to a double bed, then by flip they go into their final queen sized bed.

Talk about making work for myself!
My grow style is low effort, going from solos to 5 gallons for photos and 5 gallons straight up for autos. Could be my indica forward preference. Cheers

Just a brain explosion really.

I was offered 2 free seeds from Herbies with my order. I just thought why not?

I might just pop it outside then.
