i was talking about all over trimming like you did last time, i remember you did it after some one else told you to do it and it clearly wasnt the right thing, im sure you would of got loads more if the plant was not trimmed that much, i agree anything below the scrog leaf and bud wise needs to go, if its getting light then id leave it, but the leaves lower down the plant and the tiny buds that are not going to give anything should be removed,
the tanning light i got has got 5 like strip light bulbs in them, they make anything white glow and them uv pens light up when you write something with them, they give off no heat, but i have also seen uv incandecent bulbs, i think these would get pretty hot, i am reading up about uv and it does sound like it would make a difference, my tanning thing is free standing and stands upright so it looks like those halogen heaters, so i could put that in front of my grow room so its shining from the side and just rotate the plants, but i cant remember if their is a limit on how much the plants can have it on them, im sure it would be the same as humans, after so much time it may do more harm than good, ill look into it more mate.
you know these hempies im doing, should i remove all side branches, last time i left 2 on each side and they did give me 4 decent sized buds, but would i be better off removing these, i removed some branches early on but these where only short then they got bigger the more the plant flowered, im not sure if keeping them decreased yield or did it give me the same yield but took some away from the main bud, i know the idea is to have 1 big bud, but am i losing yield by losing them branches, i would still remove some and use as clones as i have not grown this strain before, the headband has popped so will be going in pot tomorrow, so i will take clones then ill do a big plant with them for round 3, its best if i see how things go,
all i got in my head is scrog, i got 1 plant thats screaming out for a scrog, i have trained it to the edge of the pot now and its growing up towards the light, but from the middle of the pot where the stem is to the edges it has got a strain line of branches growing up towards the light, its a dead strain line from 1 side of the pot to the other, looks pretty good, i been out all day and when i got back i noticed my temps was 90f, i checked my plants and all had grown over an inch even the seedling, my auto has doubled in size bud wise, its as if my plants prefer the higher temps, the temps yesterday where 80 all day, and the growth today is double or tripple the growth from yesterday, plants are not showing signs of heat stress, i just cant make it out, strain possibly the cause??
