Lol.. I would say about normal sized hands!

You count 12/12 from the day you put them into flower.. This is a quick strain, like I've said it's advertised to finish in 50-55 days.. Do you have little heads on the tips of your trichs?? Most of invis and mine are just long and straight, don't know why.. I have only looked twice this grow though so maybe it's changed.. Definitely don't cut yours now, I'd say go a min of 55.

dont worry I have no intention of chopping at least till day 55 or 60. thats the same time line I was giving the ak48 and even if others are not fond of it I like couch lock a whole bunch=)sept with squintyer eyes:)and yes I do have the trichs with the mushroom look
 
For the couchlock experience you can go for 60. I think medical value also goes higher as cloudy trichs become amber/brown.

Its day 55 for me, made more trich shots, but still id say its about 20% amber tops. But i can never be sure. So hard to figure the ratio..
I cant make up my mind if i should cut of the fatty buds :)

Maybe i wait a day more and they all turn amber all of a sudden!
 
@fish cake, is this your first scrog, like teSmp said, he had time to plan his and followed what he planned, he knew how long he wanted to veg for, and to be honest yours is still a damn good scrog so its not something to be looked down upon, i think your doing a great job.
with the start of 12-12 indoor growers start day 1 from the time they switch the lights to 12-12, but out door growers count the first day of flower as the first day they see pistils or buds forming, as they cant really tell when the plant starts to flower until they can actually see the evidence on the plant,

you know these long trichs your talking about, well im getting the same thing on my fruity chronic juice, my plant is by far the one with the most pistils, the top of each bud is covered in pistils, are lot more than any of the other plants, then when i checked the trichs earlier i noticed they are all really long compared to the other plants and dont seem to look like a mushroom, not sure what this means, im hoping its not a problem or a nute def, just hoping its how the plant grows, but they seem really long

well I guess it all in the discription. the trichs are as normal as I have ever seen. they look like lamp posts that are melting HAHAHAHA.

Lol k... Well I don't have the mushroom look, well at least on the 2 leafs I've looked at since I've started this grow.. I guess I should do a little more inspecting.. Most the ones I've seen are just long with no mushroom.

Yup, I think his is looking good, both of ours should fill out a ton over the next few weeks. I don't really know why the trichs are looking like this so far.. I'll look again tonight..
 
on my other plants the trichs are normal, its just on the fruity chronic juice, but the buds look different as well, they have loads and i mean loads more pistils, its like looking at a hedgehog or hedge pig what ever you have over your end of the world

Lol that's exactly what my purple Kush looked like, it will change.. I'll let you know about my trichs tonight.

This is 42 days into flowering now... I plan to go to 55 minimum up to around 62-63 depending on the trichs. So anywhere from 13-21 days left! Ton of trichs in that pic though, the pistils if you were noticing have turned red only during the drying.. they were mostly white before hand.
 
right on I'am on day 36 of flower give or take one but I do have some reddish brown pistal showing and surgar everywhere:)

Yeah I do have some redish/brown as well but if you go up to the first pic you see a few and come to the last pic they're all that way.. I'm more then impressed about the number of trichs on this plant, can only increase from here :)

I was telling others that my bud came over and gave me some clones. when he saw the css he asked me 3 times what kind it was. the flowers are like rock candy:)
 
oh ok, i thought they was all ready that colour, didnt take long for them to change though did it, if you had told me the plants was ready and harvested on time i would of believed you, i guess thats why people use microscopes now to actually check the trichs, now i can see why some people harvest early, if the pistils still change colour then harvesting early would still end up looking the same as if it was harvested at the right time, but the difference would be noticed after it was sampled.
did i read it right that even the trichs continue to change after harvest as well, so you might end up with more ember trichs even though its been harvested.
