Just doing a drive by.

Those manifolds are cool.. I haven't used mine yet.... I did use one I've had for awhile to do a hydro with rockwool slabs with drip emitters and spaghetti tubes, with those Dutch Leach Trays holding 4 plants apiece.... Those drip rings should do a great job... Nice and clean.. That room looks great.. Be sure to spray down the walls and everything with a lightly oiled spray, like neem, to stick the pollen so any rouge pollen won't drift and find your next crop..... I'll dealing with rouge pollen as I type.

Yes yes P rooms looking spot on. I need some waterproof flooring in my life aswell. Especially with the evenings getting lighter. Dont want flying bacon clocking me lol
Finished up the waterproofing on the floor today. Picked up the rest of the parts for the watering system too.

I'm about to go put in a floor drain and be done with it.

I'm sure I'll take a few more pics before I finish.

Hey Pman..in the video, never checked the time and had the volume off, so I'm not much help, but the one plant was well into flower and had lots of tacoing... my PE is almost ripe and just noticed the same thing happening. What are your thoughts on yours doing that? Did you mention it earlier and I just missed it?

Here's what I came up with for my new drip rings...

1/2" pex was actually able to bend tight enough to make a hoop that will fit the 3 gal pots.

:passitleft:
I knew you could bend 1/2” small enough!

Done...

Yeah... until they deem otherwise. I'll be dosing pretty light with nutrients for these autos. They should grow at a pretty even pace. If they all start transitioning to flower at different times, I will need to feed by hand for a couple weeks. But, once the whole group is flowering, I'll go back to feeding them from the nutrient reservoir.

Basically, I'll mix up 6 gallons (or whatever I need) of nutrient mix and pour it into the "nute chute" reservoir, gallon by gallon, until the pots are saturated.

Ok! 1 great setup but 1 thing that worries me preston is the hose you have it coming from 1 side of the feeding system. When you pour water or nutes down the chute it will begin in the front pots first and then reach the others. Are you planning to add in flow controllers to limit how much each plant is receiving? I’m curious is all! I want to automate my watering

OK go ahead Shed with your thoughts. What do you think caused his taco'ing if you feel like answering. And does it hurt the yield or quality overall?

Preston mentioned he had his lights to close the one time which caused heat stress and the leaf tacos. I’m assuming that’s what gave him the nanners as well

EDIT: sorry not Shed o_O:sorry:

It's OK Dutch. Thanks. At first I thought mine was lights but it's almost 6 inches shorter than the tallest one. it's the only one that really did it.
It's not my nite for questions ;)

Good point btw about the flow contols. He may have to use ball valves or swivel valves to close each leg off. It's gonna be hard for water to flow down the leg until some back pressure at the' T' I would think

That’s what my concern was! Once the PEX fills with water the first two lines will be open season and the following ones will get a trickle of water without the back pressure of a control valve of some sort!

I'm metric...what's that EST? 6am?
:reading420magazine:
7am metric.

I laughed out loud standing at the breakfast bar and my wife looked at me like I was crazy!

I was sitting on my hands until P replied...

The answer depends on how far back you mean. He fried the leaves of Jolene by having both 600w HPS lights on her alone in the Temple. It also made her foxtail. That was recent. If you mean earlier you'll have to wait for P to wake up before dawn.

Yeah... I burnt mine up pretty good a few weeks ago. I lowered lights, and had both 600w HPS sitting over her. It was a bit much.

She never stalled out because of it, but she is a bit ugly now. LoL

I've really gotta get the pots in there so I can set all the watering rings in place before I'll know exactly how the water will run. Once everything is set, I can adjust the level of all the water lines to distribute water more evenly. Worst case scenario, I'll pop a ball valve on each watering port to slow down or speed up flow accordingly.

OK thanks! Mine might have been the same. It was 1000w LED up high, but had the 600HPS over it too. It's not bad and turned the light off as soon as I seen it, but the taller plants never were affected.

I was way off! 1:16 am PST :thedoubletake:. That would be 4:16am Eastern Metric Time.
Got it! Stupid Metric Standard Time gets me everytime.
