Do you check the PPM at all Preston? I'm curious as to what all that works out to. The nutes I use, any higher than 1100 and I start to see nute burn.

The 1/2tsp Foliage Pro, 1/2tsp Bloom, 1tsp Pro Tekt comes out to 617ish. Add whatever for the Big Bud and water.

I'm feeding pretty aggressively right now with my last photo girl. She gets 2gal of nute mix every other day.

Right now, I'm mixing (per gal)
1/2 tsp DynaGro Foliage Pro
1/2 tsp DynaGro Bloom
1/2 tsp Advanced Nutrients Big Bud
2 tsp Terpinator
1/2 tsp Advanced Nutrients Sensi Cal/Mag

I was also using 1 tsp DynaGro Protekt per gallon until last week.

The last 2 plants I harvested were finished this same way, and the results were pretty drastic.

This next group of autos will probably start on 1/4 tsp Protekt and 1/4 tsp Foliage Pro. I'll bump that gradually until I get to 1 tsp & 1 tsp. They will veg on that mix until I see pre-flowers.

I'll add in 1/4 tsp Bloom the first week, then bump it to 1/2 tsp Bloom for the rest of flower. I also dial back the Foliage pro to 1/2 tsp through the end of flower too.

Now we're at:
1 tsp Protekt
1/2 tsp Foliage Pro
1/2 tsp Bloom

Around week 2-3 of flower, I will start adding in the Big Bud. Starting at 2mL per gal and titrating up each week to a final dose of 6ml per gal until the end of flower.

I'll use Cal/Mag as needed.

Generally, my water & feed schedule is every day. For most of the grow, I will follow the water/water/feed rotation. If I can see them chugging nutes, I'll adjust to water/feed/water/feed.

I kinda just fly by the seat of my pants. LoL, I tried it... and it kinda worked. I also monitor them closely through the whole grow so I can add or back-off nutes accordingly.

Hope this wasn't just nonsensical babbling, and someone can actually make sense of it. LoL

Stay lifted!

Yer i got it. Good breakdown cuz

New beans, a full-on auto grow, and :green_heart: for Bilbo for all the goodness except your nemesis. which you will slay this time!

It's going to be a great ride, made even better with your new painted on mustache :).
Haha the grapefruit? Yer my mans got it this time for sure

Finally got off my lazy butt to set up this auto watering system.
:yahoo:
You'll have to use your imagination, a bit... LoL
Jolene will be out soon and 6 new pots will take her place.

I built the system with 6 ports for now, but can add or subtract as many supply lines as I need in the future.

That 1/2" pex is rated to plumb residential homes.... 15-20 ports wouldn't be impossible. LoL... just a tangled mess.

Anywhoo...

Everything will be plumbed through a hose-bib I mounted to the deep sink. By using bib-to-bib hoses (washing machine supply hoses) I can connect to either the faucet, or to the nutrient reservoir.

I'll grab a garden hose "Y" at the store next time I go. That should allow me to toggle between water or nutes with the turn of a valve.

I'm still thinking about different ways to do drip rings.... I'll figure it out before the new babies move in... Fo sho!

Is that PEX? If your running 1/2” pex you can make a small drip circle with it coming out of a “T” fitting. Gently form the PEX so it doesn’t kink and make a nice little 6-8” circle.

Once it’s created and attached to the T use a 1/16” drill bit to punch desired holes!

That was the plan, but not sure if I can get a tight enough bend on the 1/2" to fit in the 3 gal pots. I may use a 1/2 X 3/8 X 3/8 reducing T to make the rings. I know I can get 3/8" pex into about a 6" circle.

I only had the local hardware store today because I dont drive. It's local & about 10 min walk. They just don't have everything I need there. Shit, they didn't even have 1/2" elbows when I went today. I had to make due with T's.... whatevvs.

Next time i get back to Lowes, I'll knock out some cool shit.

Sweet! Definitely keep us posted! I’m wanting to set up a drip system for when I go perpetual!

I like the cornrow setup. I need to do this soon. Are you using a digital timer of sorts?
Not yet, but definitely plan on integrating one in the future... especially for a soil grow, with a normal watering/feeding schedule. LoL

If you're hooking it up to a nute system will it be gravity fed from the glory hole or on a pump?
Gravity feed.
The system can be fed from either the faucet on my deep sink, or from the "nute chute" aka Ol'Glory...

So... really, I still need to manually mix up nutes, gallon by gallon, and pour in the chute. But the plus side, I only have to turn on my tap (or timer) for watering days.

No more moving pots around. They should be set in place from day 1... hopefully. LoL

Makes the time lapse more consistent!
I hadn't even thought of that, but, hell yeah! It should make for a cool time-lapse. Awesome!

I'm gonna take your suggestion for a camera mount on the wall as well.

Foxtails galore!! She’s getting bigger and bigger! Great stuff P and love the new watering setup!!

I got the drip manifold system from the OTM prize that I want to set up eventually but I like the looks of your watering system to!! O gravity fed system would be easy to setup and cheaper than a pump! Woop! Looking forward to seeing it operational
