Tead's Indoor-ish, Winter, Hempy, OGK, SOG

It might be a dysfunctional commune. I could see endless hours spent stoned staring at each others plants.
Alas I dream.
Then reality smacks me up. The female part of the train-wreck catches me on my way out the door. The male has apparently been before the judge this morning. I'm giving her my best dumbfounded look as she explains the affair and refers to the female judge as "that bitch" many times thru the tale. Now she's scrounging to find the $650 needed to bail him out.
To say that I'm constantly amazed by the victim mentality is perhaps the largest understatement ever uttered.
So sad. I hate living next door and being exposed to such horrible things.

I can't relate to that situation luckily. It's pretty mind boggling. Maybe she will be scrounging so hard that rent will be missed and you have grounds for eviction.

Amazing how much another human can affect us and exert power over our lives - pulling us in/down into 'realities' we do not at all want. A spiritual challenge at the best of times.
Advice...
Ummm.... Don't have a kid with her...

I have never pictured any sort of domestic situation where I couldn't just up and leave. Now one has been shown to me that absolutely frightens me. Tead, you will work through this man. Just have to let it play out for now, however it may.

ummmm... yeah... safe there... not spreading any pollen that direction... ever. Don't get me wrong... I've contributed to the crazy town pool on an occasion or fifty in my youth... but many years of lessons have fixed that issue.
It does bend the soul tho and I'm totally removed from the issue really. The most I would ever become engaged in the situation would be to ring the gendarmes next time I become aware of the violence. Any direct involvement would surely be the shortest path back to cray cray town. no no no.
Still, the disgust remains. It's filtered by a small bit of sympathy... but it seems to be a rather course filter.

Me either. Thus explaining my frustration with the issue as a whole.
Really, it's all about alcohol really. Often they come in from the bar well after the sun is up.
Amateur drunks just don't fair as well as us well seasoned professionals after all. Folks come to town... work in the service industry cause that's the only work available... head out after work with all the other service industry staff for a drink. It's just such a repeatable equation. Had many words of warning with them when they first hit town regarding the exact situation they currently find themselves in.
The only silver lining I can see is that they seem to be progressing thru the predicted steps in a prompt and expedient manor. Perhaps they will hit the end game sooner rather than later.

Heading out tomorrow for a week in Boston (well... staying on the beach in Revere).
Got a friend lined up to dump clear water on the babies once during my absence. Nutes and PH are just too much of a hurdle for non-growers.
I really want to cut some clones, but they'll just have to wait for a week.
Garden's going good, so there shouldn't be any issues. The temps are peaking in the low '90s and my AC can handle that.
Still expecting some sort of tragedy tho. Just my pessimism in play.

Well done.

On a side note, love Boston, such a great place, except the red sox and Patriot fans (no offense). Living in Portland ME, I am only about 2 hours away. Great food place.

Sorry y'all... gotta do a food moment.
Every try Caribou? It's my absolute fav.

Have a great time away my friend!

I sure as hell will. I just love roaming the backstreets and especially water related areas... diggin up odd history facts and trying the local culinary delights. I'll be a duck in water.

Have a great visit and safe travel. The garden'll be fine.

What a sun rise :volcano-smiley::thumb::volcano-smiley: I can't believe I'm running down your way this Sunday morning to Lake Arthur and pick up a trailer and do a turn around... Was hoping to have that cup of Joe down @ the Cafe Du Monde....maybe next time... Enjoy your trip...:surf::tokin::peacetwo: Ole Rooster1 just a strolling....

Damn! You mentioned you were headed down. Shame we missed connections. I suspect you'll be back.... and you know who to chat up next time you head south, so I'll just keep looking forward to the occasion.
You'd think that I'd have fairly frequent visitors being in NOLA, but no... not once. I still hold the door open tho... some day someone will take me up on the offer.

I've never seen Revere beach empty before. I hear tell they have had weather in the 50s this week.

We hit the weather bonanza. Highs in the upper 80's... nice warm breakfasts on the beach. Unfortunately, it ends tonight and I already have the heat going. Got most of our walking done during the warmth tho. Tomorrow we head north by car to see the leaves and chase the coastline in search of more good food.
Speaking of which... the food has been awesome so far. Great middle eastern food. Great seafood.... much different than our gulf diet. Then there's all the great Italian grub... Volare in Revere is awesome!
Dunno where I'm gonna catch the Saints on Monday, perhaps the Black Rose... somewhat tourist-y, but good fish & chips and a decent lobster roll.

I'll keep this short , I know what you mean. It broke my heart working in Ninth Ward to Chalmette. The stories from those that stayed were horror stories. :circle-of-love: for those who need help!

I meant to talk about this earlier... but then I got stoned.... so I'll share the chuckle now.

Chalmette (pronounced "shall-met") is a community outside NOLA that has lots of oil refineries and most of the houses were modern ranch-style houses directly on flat concrete slabs... not elevated at all. Almost all of it's homes were gone the first day of the flooding. The community was filled with oil and gas residue and was very toxic for a long time.

You don't hear it now that Chalmette is mostly gone, but we used to refer to young ladies from Chalmette as "Chal-mations".
I know... horribly sexist humor at the expense of fine (well... we did call them chal-mations for a reason) young ladies... but Tead's just never been accused of being politically correct... and he may have taken one or two home in the days before his current sweetheart.

Man... I sure hope my sweetheart doesn't ever troll these halls... there have been many bits of ammunition I've tossed out over the years.

Hahaha! She never reads your stuff Tead? Dale never once opened the iPad to 420 Magazine. He left it all to me.
