Ah... crayfish! Now I know what crawfish is. We have a chain restaurant here in South Africa, called Crawdaddy. Decent food there.
I know, it's a bit heartless, isn't it?
Tead, I feel the same way. I get lost in the blossoms all the time. Before I started growing in 2014 I wasn't aware that they looked this beautiful. Haha! Before I started growing I didn't even know there were communities like this on line. Such a sheltered life. LOL!

Found a butcher here from St.Martinville, LA.
He makes boudin!!!!
I bought about 3 lbs.

That's an awesome find!
Love me some boudin.
I like boil a pot of water with some Zats Creole seasoning in it. Then I turn the heat down to simmer, pop in the boudin, and cover the pot. I let it go for about 10 min. I then gently remove them, dry them off, and pop them directly into a hot ass frying pan with oil and crisp up the skin a bit (love the blackened casing!).

Photos and feeding
Dosed up the osmos with 10grams each.
Temps dropped back down to 50s today.
Clipped a branch off of 3rd gear to feed the need. She's at about 20% amber.
Jumped up the mixes on all the plants. I really didn't do 3rd gear any favors regarding her feeding schedule. Way too low.

Took 3 tops off of 5gal girl. Put 2 of them in a new cloner I put together this morning. Same kinda bubble cloner. Used an opaque tub as a cover. Used rubber pipe insulation as plugs. Standard fish air pump to an airstone in the bottom.

Hardware issues lately. Timer died the other day... replaced it with a spare. This morning, my inline fan has died... put a regular fan near the opening. Reversed the flow exhausting it into the veg tent for heat help.

Finally got off my ass and put the cup clone into a 2L pot. She was somewhat rootbound.

On another note... caught these words by Major PITA regarding moving plants in fabric pots. Found it funny... thought I'd share.
A fucking TRACTOR BUCKET! Geez.
Temps were way low for the 12th Night celebrations the other night... I took a pass.
Krewe du Vieux rolls on the 23rd and Muses on the 4th. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
Krewe du Veiux is awesome. Hand made floats unique every year. Small enough to go thru the Marigny and FQ, then on thru the CBD ending at a local theater for a huge awesome party.
Muses is a huge spectacle with amazing lighting on big floats shaped like ladie's pump shoes.
I'll take a side trip to explain one of the reasons I stay in this city.
In 1990 something, a wayward Tead was introduced to NOLA. One of his introductions was the KdV ball after the parade. All (and I DO mean all) of the guests at the ball were wearing costumes from the parade. It's a touch of a naughty parade and folks were wearing big penis costumes and other interesting attire.
Earlier that evening, Tead was attending one of the more formal Mardi Gras balls (Cleopatra to be exact) and was wearing a nice black tux... he even had a young lady decorated in a red satin gown on his arm that he would later put a ring on... but that's another tale.
Tead and his future wife made their way out of the fancy ball and found a huge party going on not far. Tead made his way past the doorman with the help of some Andrew Jackson's and fell directly into a sea of KdV folk getting their drink (and whatnot) on.
Freddy Omar was on the stage belting out one of his tunes. I had recently had some social run-ins with Freddy. He saw me in the crowd, tilted his head to the side a bit to indicate the obvious "What the hell are you wearing?" question, then called us up on stage. As Freddy was pumping out some wonderful tune, my wife and I danced away on stage in front of everyone. I remember trying to spin her a bit to get her gown to flare out. All of this to a backdrop of crazy costumes and a literal sea of drunk/high humans.
It really was an amazing night.

Sorry i gotta ask though how do figure its root bound? Im just wondering because as you know I grow in 2-liters and the like and to me that plant still seems small yet.
Awesome story Tead! Makes me pine away for that lovely city.
