Tead's Indoor-ish, Winter, Hempy, OGK, SOG

What a boring eclipse. Not even dark enough to trigger the cicada bugs or the birds. Boring.
Tead remembers a total eclipse in the 70s... much more interesting.

I topped her 3 or 4 times,, on all my girls. I wanted to stay away from anything getting too big.. But this Variant I'm trying, compliments of Con there, didn't seem like it wood've gotten to be big either way. My guess is she might have gone up to 8-9 foot untopped. I can't reach that high from my hoverround. JK but is times I could've used one.. Like Portlands Zoo.. That's a shit pot of walking.. All up hill it seems. I did have afew that got 'bigger' than I wanted. Now them worms,,, I get them bad here... So I'll do my treatment come the 1st that should last till harvest. I wish it was that easy with mites.. You know they say it works on mites too I think. That wood be cool something that hangs around 3 weeks before it starts to dissipate.. And if it worked that wood be real cool.. I hate mite,, ya'll got my skin crawling.. Well, I'm going to rack abit. I gotta wake up and see that sun thing. Miss J found a 'real' set of glasses. They are counterfeiting them WTF A slick terrorist attack,, 6 million Americans get blinded looking at the sun.... That wood look real good in the public.... Well I'm outta here... Keepem Green

I'm just not convinced that topping really helps my exact cloned pheno of the strain. Training, yes... but topping just takes out a huge center spike it sports.

8-9 feet that's the exact limit of this strain.

An 8' plant in Teads world..... hmmmm.....
Well.... it would have to be outside. If I do it hempy, it would need to be a 10g container.
hmmm.....

I have done some larger plants in soil outside. I've seen plants of that height in my world, tho I've always bent them over and kind of grown them sideways.
A little late in the year for such games... tho it will probably be warm enough well into December.

The wheels turn. Now that I've been playing with the outdoor hempies, I might have to expand that effort some and perhaps try a big plant grow next spring.

Now that would be something to watch. :battingeyelashes:

I will be sure to pop the bags open every day to show a little love, maybe breathe in some CO2.

You only need to do that every three days. :battingeyelashes:

It's a beautiful strain Conradino. I feel honored to be growing one. This one comes down tomorrow morning.

Everything on her sparkles. Lol!

Her clone's gonna be bigger, methinks.

I'm phasing out soil, for a while at least. I'm planning to be running hempies for about a year.

Our front yard view of the eclipse was officially 93%

3 pairs of optometrists eye dialation sunglasses was just about right - 2 pairs when the crescent was climbing atop the darkness like a cap and becoming a crescent on the other side. 6 of 7 people who looked through them, their first word was the same: Wow!

Dang autofocus cell phone cameras wouldn't focus on infinity - so no photos. I'm sure NASA took better pictures anyway.

Cicadas and a cricket were going for about 10 minutes near the peak. The only bird we saw was a hawk, but we don't always have birds in the yards. The normal amount of bees and butterflies.

Came out pretty nice, stocky as it should... maybe a little too much on the leafy side, but it may be the photo that doesn't do justice. What's the smell?

Our chickens kept running around in a pack. They seemed a bit confused as to whether it was time to head to the coop or not. That was all the weird animal behavior we saw.

It's hanging behind me right now and the smell is intoxicating. Reminds me of sweet wildflowers that pop up after a West Texas spring rain. It reminds me on some level of my Afghanis, so they must share some dominant terps. I'm not as adept at describing the smells as you and Graytail are. Still learning. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Speaking of chickens. Sue has one hanging by it's legs right now :)

Crazy busy... off to the airport for a week in Chicago.
Gotta get the Mini to the Calamari Trim Shop (trim shop.... awesome!) for a new top.... don't ask.
Gotta do my daily downtown run.
Mostly packed.
Pup and kitten all squared away.

Time for some deep dish from Lou Malnati's or Giordano's.... I can taste it from here. Perhaps the smell is finding it's way the Miss.

Chicago deep dish best I ever had. Complemented by some fine herb and a little blow in the restroom. I don't remember much after that. Best pie ever though...

Hope NOLA stays out of Harvey's path

Bon Voyage my friend. Have a wonderful time, both of you. :kisstwo:

Happy to miss Harvey. I'm starting to think I'm not a deed dish kinda guy. Still gotta sample Giordano's.... but the samples I've tried so far leave me wanting.
Had a poke bowl for the first time today... awesome stuff!

Bon Voyage my friend. Have a wonderful time, both of you. :kisstwo:

Wearing us both out.
Museums and galleries... there's a ton of both in Chicago.
So nice to be away from the heat!

Thank you, my friend. I owe you for this treasure.

I can't find a suitable emoticon for the smile spreading my face wide.
Fun!
Sampled yet?

Absolutely! :cheesygrinsmiley: Two pieces, actually. One small, mostly dry bud from the fridge and this one that I dried on top of the lights. They're both exquisite, and you know what I mean. :laughtwo: This is already a staple. I've decided it's my private stock. The fridge bud was the most complex cannabis I've tasted. There's something there I can't pin down. Mysterious and tickling to the memory banks, so eventually it'll surface.

I get a hint of rubber, confirmed by the daughter's nose. Not in the taste at all. There's so many exotic things going on. Lol! The fridge bud has much more fruitiness. Breaking it open filled the room with sweetness.

Creative, energetic,....... Music! OMG! No wonder you love her so much. She brings music alive. How perfect for NOLA! Brilliant! :slide: She makes me move to the music, want to be part of it.

Yeah..... I'm a fan in a big way. The plant goes into the bucket tomorrow or Sunday for two months, which should ramp up the terpenes and increase her potency. It's gonna be hard not having any for that span of time. :laughtwo:

Makes you feel awlfully special to be smoking it, doesn't it? Humbling.
