I chew it until it disintegrates then wash it down with a drink 2.7 grams of mine would have me in hospital ha ha.
But everyones different and has different tolerances.
No, tangwena, unfortunately it's not a strain issue, and I think my Critical cob is pretty potent. I had my friend over and I gave her some cob to put in a joint. I gave her a third of what I used in my joint. She took that third and made a joint out of a third of that - that's a ninth of what I put in my joint. She had 4 puffs on her joint and she was out for the night. The next day she shared what was left of her joint with 2 friends of hers. They all got insanely stoned and one of the guys couldn't speak or move for half an hour. My friend said it was the strongest smoke she's ever had. So, it's not bad at all.
When I ate the 2.7 grams I also vaped and smoked all day. Still not much happening.
I normally vape all day and smoke one or two cob joints (always with pure cob, nothing mixed) - and I don't get stoned. I can feel a small buzz, but that's it.
However, it does help my chronic pains.

I think you're right about the genetics, Sue. I've always had a high tolerance to anything I put in my mouth. My metabolism has been very high my whole life.
I'm interested in trying your suggestions for better absorption. I've similar experiences when trying other drugs. I'll try to find the supplements you're suggesting.
When I tried MDMA I ended up with a double dose, I didn't get a fraction of the effect all the others got.
When I tried DMT, smoking it was insane but when I ate it I felt nothing. The others were all over the place...
When I was in Bali and had mushrooms the bartenders had never seen anyone eat that much mushrooms. My gf had half a bag (of about 10 mushrooms) and was so wasted all night, I had her half a bag and another 7 bags. I got some buzz but not much.
